I believe the same person or group that did the 1190 Typhon conceived this beauty. According to their Facebook page, the Manticor (kit?) will be available by the end of the year.
Hope he's not going to test ride in a Utilikilt !!
Oh & for those of you that are still in suspenders about the Emerson Lake & Palmer thing, Manticore was their own record label.
On the educational side of things the Manticore was a mythic creature, being a hybrid beast like a Pegasus or a Griffon, generally depicted with the body of a Lion & a huge Scorpion tail, sometimes winged & sometimes with a human head.
"Look at the bends on the exhaust, kind of interesting."
Similar concept as D shaped intake port reduces velocity variance on the short side vs. long side radius. This in turn reduces turbulence and increases flow for a given velocity. To do those exhaust bend correctly you have to hydroform them so that the cross sectional area remains uniform all the way through the bend. Seems to me someone made aftermarket pipes for inline 4s but I've never seen one built for a Buell before.
Sho nuff - Micron Serpent as it turns out. I guess I didn't know they made a Buell system. That picture doesn't look like the pictures of the micron system so it's either an optical illusion or someone did a home brew micron? Does anybody else think the bends look fatter or do I need to make an eye appointment :-)
