Untrue. I decided to go to CFA because of First Amendment issues. Others that I spoke with were there for the same reason.
That's my big thing on this too. If anyone thinks otherwise, feel free to check my first post on this issue on the first page.
My point right now is that it would never have become a first amendment issue if the gay rights people weren't trying to suppress someone's rights. This is a REAL right as spelled out in the Constitution, not one of the made up rights that gay rights is about.
Yeah, the 'straight flag" is a new one to me too. I've not attended a parade in many years, but I'll bet you a dollar there isn't one flag like that to be seen anywhere.
I've seen them a plenty, but I honestly don't think I've seen one outside the red states.

Odd that it's virtually all PRO-gay bumper stickers
Yea I can use a poor search engine that posts up results for any keyword and doesn't use proper boolean logic too.

So there is a straight flag! Who knew? Seriously... Who?
I'm surprised you didn't know, I figured they would be using that instead of the American flag on Fox News by now. I've seen it around the internet, but I can't name seeing it on cars or anything, but then again like before, I'm in an area where people don't give a rats that you are straight.

Want to see who can come up with a longer list on the parade thing? Who's in who's face? I'll let you post your list first.
Now you are just being silly. I am certain there are more gay pride events than straight pride, because gay pride is in the minority. There are black pride events, Puertorican pride events, and so on, but there really aren't any white pride events these days. The minority are just looking for a little recognition and equal treatment. Before you say anything about being in your face again, just look at TV and movies. Things are better these days, but 10 years ago you would be hard pressed to find any mention of gays even existing outside of comedy bits. Reminds me of the joke that NBC used to be called No Blacks Channel.
This is my last post, don't want you guys to think I am abandoning ship, but I'm leaving work now, got a long weekend ahead, I'm sure there will be 5 more pages by time I get a chance to look at it again. Have fun!

And this is my point exactly. You have a very small percentage of the population demanding to get a huge share of attention. I really don't care if they are proud to be gay. Get it out of my face!
I get frustrated when the only thing someone anti-Christian can do is slam Christianity, rather than come up with actual points.
I think Christianity is ridiculous because Christians worship a 2000 year old zombie. Let me say that again, A 2000 YEAR OLD ZOMBIE! If that's not the definition of fanatic insanity, then I don't know what is. A 2000 YEAR OLD ZOMBIE! LOL!!
Also - if you can hate the sin but love the sinner, then I can hate the belief but love the believer.
They have the right to vote. They don't have to sit on the back of the bus. They don't have to drink from a separate drinking fountain. They can go to any school they want. ect.ect. I just don't think they need to give god and mother nature the middle finger.

Hmm, I can't recall reading where Jesus became mindless and started eating the brains of living people. Maybe that's in one of those books we protestants left out of our bibles...

Well everyone seems to follow the 'good book' like a zombie, no asking questions just total blind devotion to what would be labeled as a cult in this day and age.
My problem is that heterosexual masturbation is prohibited in the bible.
Actually, that isn't correct. Onan's sin was not following the law, and denying his brothers wife her family rights in order to promote his own wifes children. Which is a 'whole nother kind of screwed up and misogynist cluster*&&*, but that's a different topic and a different culture and time and I try and be tolerant.
Had Onan done his sister in law properly first, he was then free to entertain himself however he wanted without sin. If he wasn't sleepy.

Isn't "everyone" just a bit of an over-generalization? "Some" or even "many" might be more reasonable.

Funny, but I was taught to ask questions during Bible study. YMMV.
Don't you just love double standards? One person makes a statement about Christ being a zombie, and gets berated because not all Christians follow blindly, and is told not to over generalize. Then someone points out a building where someone painted graffiti and immediately generalizes that all of "These people are for tolerance like radical Muslims are for peace." When I was a kid (many decades ago) another kid spray painted a Swastika on the side of an apartment building. I guess that means that all kids must be Nazis. Great logic. The incidence of rectal occulitis is reaching close to epidemic levels. But, hey; at least nobody is trying to blame it on Obama. Yet.
Crusty, the sad thing is that this was very predictable, just like the OWS crowd. It's always the same response, it's just a small minority doing these things. Imagine if that same percentage of people from Wednesdays support group did something like this, or the video posted earlier. There would be hundreds, if not thousands of incidents of hatred. Predictably though, that never happened.
