A searing indictment of the union leadership proletariat. Walker gave the public workers the ability to opt-out of dues (incoming confiscation) and they did in massive numbers. If the public service unions are serious about the "working class man and woman" why do the not forward a plan to recall the union leadership?

All indicators lead a news junkie to believe that the people have spoken. I rejoice with them.

Yea, a minority of workers and powerful union groups couldn't strong arm Wisconsin taxpayers therefore democracy failed. Lol. What planet do these people live on?

People are missing the big story here.

There was no reason for a recall in the first place.
A recall is not designed to give the loser of an election a second chance.

It is meant to remove an office holder who has committed a crime or otherwise failed to execute his office.

Walker did neither. In fact, unlike most politicians, he fulfilled his campaign promises, and was very successful in doing so.

That is why he beat the same opponent by a larger margin than when he was first elected.

Unfortunately the Democrats like to think that being a Republican or conservative is some kind of crime.

Believe me, it is not.

Zactly!

Just because you can gin up a giant group of ne'er-do-wells and rabble rousers from the SEIU and AFLCIO, it doesn't mean that there is a need to punt the duly elected Executive of your state.

Remember also that it was the Democrat leadership that was hiding in a hotel in Illinois.

Even though Obama is still favored in the Wisconsin exit polls, he can no longer assume that he has a lock on Wisconsin. That is good news as he will have to divert funds and energy to plug up the dike.

The recall vote should never have happened but it helped expose the weak backbone of Obama. Clinton had the balls to come to Wisconsin. Obama did not even though he was doing fund raisers next door. I hope Wisconsin Liberals on Badweb understand this.

That's not a political poster.

That's a portrait of our dear leader Maobama.

I could only ASS-U-ME that was some sort of rigged high school mock election.

>>>Even though Obama is still favored in the Wisconsin exit polls

So too, by the way, was Mayor Barrett as of about 7:00pm last night.

The exit polls in WI proved wildly inaccurate. They were calling it "a close race" and talking about the 3rd party buy, who got 2%, perhaps deciding it . . the race was so close.

Then they started counting votes and we saw one of the most lopsided ass kickings in voting history as Republicans, Independents and Democrats joined forces to slap the SEIU and unions back into their hole.

Here's a "what if" that could be a win-win for everyone...

Put Walker on the card with Romney.

...WI Democrats get rid of him as they want.

...Romney has someone else that could draw votes.

ABC news just reported that an angry woman slapped Barrett in the face as he was conceding defeat. What does this tell you about the Liberal mentality over an election that should never have been allowed to occur in the first place?

I didnt take that photo, but I did take a pic at my polling place after asking permission to do so. That picture was taken yesterday at a polling place at a high school in Racine. Should that picture be in a high school regardless if it an election day or not? I know it shouldnt be there while voting is taking place there. It is a campaign ad in a public government owned building.

Amen, FB.

Whiny liberal jerks. It's always their way or no way.

Walker talks about working together now that for the SECOND time he has won the vote in a democracy, and the losers scream about the fight has just begun.

Make me sick. They don't want a democracy, they want to rule as a minority.

"THEY" have no interest in a democracy - when they find a SINGLE person to vote against them.

Here in the People's Republic of California, the largest contributor to politicians are the teachers and public sector unions and yet the dupes in the media are willingly played to present it as if "BIG BUSINESS" (Oil, Defense, "Tobacco") is calling all the shots. Shame on the media for being intellectually lazy and just copy-and-paste reporting.

"we all had a lot invested in this"

Yes. I Understand that the union owned mandatory health insurance was a major money maker. Pity the monopoly is broken.

just wait for Card Check, where, if I'm lucky, I get to tell a Union Organizer to Kiss my ...

Violence is inevitable. After a few people get beat up for not voting for a Union, Someone's going to overReact.

Elections are important. Privacy in your vote is even more important. If evil people know what your vote is, you are not going to vote your mind & heart, but your fear.

And btw, I'm Union.

Rocket? Why is the Gov going to jail? Honestly, I don't know, haven't been exposed to the "word". So... Why?

Exit polls?

A guy walks up to you after you have voted, and asks you who you voted for.

I'd either insult and leave, or lie, based on my snap judgment of the questioner.

A recall election sponsored by Big Union? And the real issue is that the hated one ended mandatory, taken out of your pay with NO CHOICE union dues?

Don't doubt me. Sure the Health Insurance bit was major bucks, but NO CHOICE in dues? That's the main vein. Like being able to tax people. Awesome power.

How do I know the pollster isn't with the Union, and the wrong answer means my house is going to burn down tonight? Or is that guy over there with the cell phone recording me? House, burned down.

Don't ever answer a Poll like that, unless you lie. Only when the exit polls are useless, and that will take years, will they quit using them to influence elections.

One pundit believes that 10% of Obama's poll numbers come from people lying about going to vote for him. They are afraid of being called racist. ( with reason )
I don't know about that, but you can Hope for Change.

A campaign poster doesn't belong in a school or a polling place. A dignified picture of the current President would be fine in a school, but "Obama 08" is clearly a campaign poster.

Taking pictures in a polling place is up to state and local regulations. You can't take pictures of the people voting though.

Aesquire,

Some of Walker's staff from his days as Milwaukee County Executive have been charged with running his campaign for Governor on the tax payers dime. He has not been charged with any wrong doing at this point. He has a defense fund, and has hired lawyers.
