why does everyone flip out about this stuff? i have no problem with any US Govt agency flying drones in the US for a multitude of reasons, but mainly because I have nothing to hide! Those who do probably deserve to get caught! Also be advised, the US military goes ALL OVER the WORLD for training (to include every state in the US). A friend worked for Evergreen when they did their helo-rescue of Jose Napoleon Duarte's daughter held hostage. They also did tests on different airliners converted to deploy troops out the rear air-stair door at low altitude (727 back in the day) - testing done at their AZ facility. Evergreen has quite the history following Air American folding their tents and breaking camp. | ||

It's been discussed. The current Admin. has claimed the power to arrest, detain, kill, and hide the body, dead or alive, anyone they think might be a terrorist. Since the definition of terrorist per Big Sis, the head of the Homeland Security Agency, ( feel free to curse Bush the younger for that one ) is NOT islamist fascists, but US service vets, folk who believe we should follow the Constitution, and those who disagree with the admin..... the Presence of armed drones over American cities was inevitable. Just for our protection, of course. Apparently the protesters in Chicago are not the approved "Occupy" neocommunist, useful idiots run & paid by the Obama Eternal Campaign. I'm not adverse at all to a few tear gas grenades when the mob of masked anarchists start smashing store windows. Hellfire strikes downtown might be a little over the top. Conspiracy theories..... I still struggle that there were even 'planes' involved. Some of the video from that day, is the worse animation I have seen. ie On a stellar clear day, visibility for MILES .... the plane - is at best a black silohette, moving at rate that cannot even be near operating speed..... go look at the footage. Honestly, I am not inclined to believe that a Boeing 757 did it. ... nor am I content to believe that a low and slow aircraft of same size straifed the Pentagon.... and miraculously did no other damage to surrounding air incursions on such a glide path. They smell like drones, with transponders at best. And it is not unprecedented. The Activity of the USS California in the Gulf back in the 90's..... shot down a 'civilian' aircraft.... that was 'registering' as a hostile enemy aircraft (per reports to the media an Iranian Fighter.... which would have been one of the ones we sold to them .... an f-4 to be exact) how hard is it to spoof a transponder code ?...... not. and when you have 30,000 of these things in the air - how hard is it to get one of the 'red flag' ones in to our airspace.... especially since Iran just 'downed' one of our 'stealth' ROV's ?..... not. expect stupidity from the air - and soon. (not even going to touch the 'loss' of one of the drones over DC by the Navy two years ago- thats already been laid to bare in this thread) | ||

Despite the eyewitnesses, video, testimony, etc - can you imagine orchestrating such a conspiracy to include the disappearance (incineration) of all the passengers and crew of the aircraft involved or the post-mortem identification of some of the body parts of those passengers ?
