Rest In Peace to a friend, customer, and fellow iowa bueller. Some of you may know him, many might not, he stayed pretty low key on the boards but was always around. John Wright (80rs427) passed away Wednesday afternoon. he had been battling an illness for awhile, so atleast the family was as prepared as you can be for something like this. i met John because i work at the Hd Buell shop, but kept talking to him because he was a hell of a nice guy and hardcore buell enthusiast and rescuer. he will be missed. My thoughts go out to his friends and family. i took the long way home last night. pegs down. | ||

I was in shock when I got the email from Joe. John was the definition of Buell Enthusiast and just and all around nice guy. I will miss my chats with him. Rest in Peace John. | ||

Guys, Thanks for the kind words about my dad. We will have his S1W at the visitation and I intend to lead the funeral procession on it. Obscenely loud exhaust and just the way it should be. He was wrenching on an XB9 engine right up to the end. It is my responsibility to finish it and be the caretaker for his/our bikes. I'll post some photos of his Buell legacy later on. Cheers, Joe |
