Yes, Mr. Obama is well known to abide fully with the rule of law in this country, so I'm quite sure you're right.

Heavy sigh.

Glitch,

That's just it. They DON'T have free speech. If Maher, or Moore, or O'Donnell, or Olbermann, or RHODES, or Stewart, or Behar, or Damon, or any other entertainer/pundit says something outrageous, it's no big deal. They are comedians/actors. They have free speech.

If Rush, Hannity, Wilkow, Miller, O'Reiley, et. al. say anything even SLIGHTLY provocative, they get fired and people start calling for their prosecution.

There is no free speech for conservatives.

PERIOD.

What is funny is that Rush will tell his audience "This is going to REALLY get them upset. Watch how many repeat what I say.", and will then proceed to say something as a joke in order to have the sound bite repeated and misrepresented by gotcha folks. I didn't hear the show. My guess was thy this was something similar.

Doesn't really matter, though, by apologizing, he gave it traction.

I saw Robin Morgan interviewed today who says she and her group want Rush fired for calling that woman a slut. Jane Fonda, Robin Morgan, and Gloria Steinem. I am sure they have done good things for women but really?? This is just plain DUMB.

Why aren't they petitioning against Bill Maher too?

The same people defended Bill Clinton for using an intern like a slut.

When Fluke shows up with a blue dress with Rush's splooge on it, they might have a leg to stand on.

So who promotes those "Slut Walks"?

I wonder if Fluke was involved with them in any way - or if anyone is investigating that.

quote:

Axelrod Bails On Maher

David Axelrod was scheduled to appear on HBO's "Real Time" with Bill Maher in the coming weeks, but now the report is that Axelrod has bailed.

Last week as the Obama administration fabricated the mythical "War on Women" his PAC joyously received a $1 million dollar donation from Maher, who has previously called conservative women like Sarah Palin and Michele Bachmann "c*nt" and "tw*t."

The Obama campaign received intense criticism for hypocritically accepting money from a talking head whose transgressions are arguably worse than those of Rush Limbaugh, who Obama framed as the head of the GOP and perpetrator of the fictitious "War On Women."

While Axelrod's change of plans signal that the administration is feeling the heat, the Obama campaign has yet to call for its PAC to return the million-dollar donation, request that Maher apologize, or call Palin and Bachmann to offer support.
