To Audi. Interesting. Audi is apparently trying to be the savior of fine Italian makes. They did a great job with Lamborghini. Can't wait to see what this brings.

VW auto group is run differently than GM so its not the same. Audi has control over Lambo from what I have read in automobile magazines.

Nothing wrong with VW. They've got several well engineered vehicles in their stable. More if you include Porsche and the other high end brands they own. And they've got pretty deep pockets. And the longest private test track in the world. (I think.)

Ducati may be in better hands now than they were before.

It's not been finalized yet. THere are rumors that Indian banks are talking with Hero as well to finance the purchase Ducati.
