I didn't want to be "to" early "too" comment on your verbage. Heck - we've got about 8 motorcycles (depends on how you count project bikes) and I collect Minox (maybe 18 of the little cuties) and we used to teach underwater photography and have at least a dozen different Nikonos II, Nikonos III and Nikonos V. Got 2 F3THP Titanium bodied cameras. Got a few semi-disposable N70 Nikons that fit in my Subal housing for underwater work Got 2 Pentax 67II Medium format Yeah... I still like film. Waiting for a decent Nikon that I can "afford" to put in the housing for underwater work since all shooting is done manually anyways (aperture, exposure, strobes, focus) | ||

I know you are a Nikon guy Dave, but (IMHO) for the pocket cam you should ditch the Nikon and get a Lumix LX5. | ||

Boy, you got that right!!  I have about 200 of them myself. Here is my "Leica" corner, for example.(Sorry for the iPhone photo:-).  My latest favorite is a Sony NEX7.  | ||
