"Good grief, I can't believe that the long version of Fred is classed as bad language.
Is every word that starts with F & ends ck excluded? "

At least BWB doesnt sensor the word "penis" like one forum I am on, yet slang terms are allowed....

Dangit, "censor"!

I have a hard time on the interwebs due to my innate grammar/punctuation/syntax/spelling ability...

Love you all, but in this day and age of "tweets" and texts, language really matters to me. Please pardon.

I like political thrillers:
Author Vince Flynn:
Term Limits, Transfer of Power, The Third Option, working on Separation of Power now. Lots more in his series of books.

I've also read all of Joel C Rosenberg's books:
The Last Jihad, The Last Days, Ezekial Option, Copper Scroll, Dead Heat, The Twelfth Imam and The Tehran Initiative.

I've read all of these since September on my Kindle.

I've got Ben Franklin's autobiography (free on Amazon) and Dave Ramsey's Entreleadership on it now that I'm working thru.

Just finished 11/22/63 , A Stephen King Novel. Huge book , terrific story line.
Hughlysses.....wait'll you get near the END!

Read "Weird Colorado"...part of the "Weird USA" idea and "Deadly Hallows".I know,Iknow, enjoy some Harry Potter still.

I've moved on to "Evolve your Brain"
The Science of changing your mind.
By Joe Dispenza from the Movie "What the %$#&^@!!(bleep) Do We Know!?"
A movie EVERYONE in the world should watch , and watch again. Part of the Quantum Physics discussions. If you've seen it Joe was the kickback , down to earth younger guy who was a Chiropractor and was paralyzed , told he would never walk again but through the power of his own mind healed his body .It explores the potential of the mind in a real-world , laymans terms kinda way. It's lucid and inspiring. When I saw the movie I picked him out as being the most approachable out of the bunch.
I know , I'm all over the place but there's SO MUCH good literature out there I just wished we didn't have to sleep so I could get to more of it!

Kowski,

That's an odd one. Scientists poo-pooing philosophy, then launching into philosophical argumentation, albeit really bogus philosophical argumentation.

Not worth reading. I put it down before halfway through.

I'm reading (for the gazillionth time) The Unpleasant Profession Of Jonathan Hoag by Robert A. Heinlein
I'm listening to Sister Ray by the Velvet Underground.
I feel like I stepped into a Time Machine and came out in 1970.

Innes; If you're going to read Zelazny, aren't you about due to read Lord Of Light again?

There's a wonderful, small art museum on Fifth Avenue in New York.

It's called The Collection

Well I'll be darned - the red dot censor works its magic (I just had to try it out for myself :- )

Blake, you're entitled to your opinion. I'm halfway through it and I plan to finish it. If there was any "poo-pooing" in the first half of of the book, it was to demonstrate how historical scientific advancement has allowed mankind to formulate new models of nature's laws, laws that hold much more testability and utility than previously "old" thinking.

I will concede that a discussion of M-theory is more or less philosophical. The mathematic assumptions necessary to support it rely as much on "faith" as any religious text, IMO.

Crusty, Roadmarks, or My Name is Legion, probably.

But knowing me, by the time I get to them I'll have found a dozen or so other books that I'd forgotten about & the wife will start bleating about the random piles of books all over the house.

Again.
