"They Lie" Absolutely - and yet they are absolutely convinced of "their truth." I remember when the charlatan Oral Roberts had himself held hostage to god - if 8 million $ weren't raised, he'd be taken by god. (again avoiding "G" capitalization) |

I think they know full well that they are lying. Otherwise they'd just be mistaken. Peeps in scripture? http://bible.cc/leviticus/11-6.htm http://bible.cc/matthew/23-37.htm |

Max the trouble maker. Hey, no one ever answered the question about Paul... Who here, without a web search, knows what the apostle Paul did before he became a Christian? |

Didn't Paul have something a little camp about him re: his prior occupation? (JKG - I had a good Methodist upbringing! We did a lot of bible study) Chris C |

Absolutely - and yet they are absolutely convinced of "their truth." Nah, sure the poor children are believing the con men in charge, but the WBC is essentially a group made for the purpose of suing people that spit on them. It's a family of lawyers. Probably the leader is a serious closet case, considering the rhetoric, but the whole thing is a scam. It's not like you can walk into their church and worship. Go ahead, try and join. |

Saul of Tarsus hated Christians. He made it his goal to capture, then bring Christians to public trial and execution. Saul was present when the first Christian martyr (named Stephen) was killed by an angry mob. |

I'm just being a butthead, posting innocuous stuff that comes in email from those who care about America. As opposed who appear hell bent on destroying us. Cheers, (Message edited by moxnix on February 10, 2012) |

Maybe some of those who you think hate America love it more than you realize? It might be possible that they see things differently, and their ideas may work pretty well. |

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/feb/10/interp ol-journalist-arrested-muhammad-tweet Interpol has been accused of abusing its powers after Saudi Arabia used the organisation's red notice system to get a journalist arrested in Malaysia for insulting the Prophet Muhammad. Police in Kuala Lumpur said Hamza Kashgari, 23, was detained at the airport "following a request made to us by Interpol" the international police cooperation agency, on behalf of the Saudi authorities. Kashgari, a newspaper columnist, fled Saudi Arabia after posting a tweet on the prophet's birthday that sparked more than 30,000 responses and several death threats. The posting, which was later deleted, read: "I have loved things about you and I have hated things about you and there is a lot I don't understand about you … I will not pray for you." More than 13,000 people joined a Facebook page titled "The Saudi People Demand the Execution of Hamza Kashgari". Clerics in Saudi Arabia called for him to be charged with apostasy, a religious offence punishable by death. Reports suggest that the Malaysian authorities intend to return him to his native country. ..... Coexist. Go ahead. Try. |

Crusty, the Hippie ideas of love and sexual freedom have good points. You have to add a little responsibility to the mix to make it real world functional, but any Fan of Spiderman knows that with Great power comes great responsibility. The collectivist ideas of the Occupiers however, are a con to let a small number of self appointed elites rule a vast number of oppressed slaves. It makes total sense that G Soros is helping to pay the organizers. The "we'll annoy people until they assault us, then sue" ideas of the WBC are pretty brilliant, if you are a family of crooked lawyers wanting to scam the planet. Not nice people to be around if you are having a funeral for your Son who died to keep people free from tyranny. Got any good examples of good ideas you mention that don't have a history of mass murder, persecution and torture? ( because the whole intolerance thing is not a good idea in my mind ) |

Crusty you one of the few thats received the blessing of Living In the United States. The only Constitutional Republic in history to survie this long. Our Founders knew man and how he wants to grab power and become a king ruler or dictator. Obama keeps saying Congress is blocking him and he has to get around it. This supposed lawyer has described our Constitution a document of negitive liberties. He could'nt pass a 5th grade civics test. He has discovered the founders designed our gov to thwart men like Obama. Healthcare is the carrot to get you to bend to the rod. Remember the Most dangerous words in America ( We are here to help you) Signed the Gov. Politicians have forgotten they are not rulers they are Employees nothing more than Representives for the will of the People. |

NOT work or kid safe. NOT politically correct. Not for the weak minded or uptight. This flash animated strip usually has sex, cartoon nudity, very rude things, and social commentary not liked by uptight folk. You don't have to like this strip or ever see it again, but I do suggest this one episode for food for thought. No nudity, but swear words and insight. The character in this one is Foamy the Squirrel. Teachers and Bullies. http://www.illwillpress.com/TEACHBULL.html Sometimes humor can get a point across better than anything else. Even a rabid squirrel rant. |

This supposed lawyer has described our Constitution a document of negitive liberties. He's right. The Constitution is written specifically to make the kind of change he wants hard. For a reason. A nice monarchy is a much more efficient way of running things. The King makes a decision, and it gets done, or people get dead. Once in a while you get a great leader, and good things happen. The trouble is who's up next in power. The Son of the King tends to be a spoiled brat, raised in a weird world with no relation to reality. See Prince Charles of England for a guy who seems pretty nutball to me. ( and it has been said his Mom will never let him be King. ) Note that Obama asserts it is HIS right to order the Murder of anyone, American Citizen or not, if HE believes they are suspected of terrorism. Since the DHS's Big Sis insists the Greatest Threat to America is homegrown terrorism, defined by HER as Veterans and people who disagree with the President, that combination should be scary to anyone not on board with the march to Euro-style Social Democracy. ( and even scarier to anyone not rich enough to Bribe this admin to either let them alone, or give them Your money. ) Hoot, the real reason the Catholic Church does not like Birth Control is simple and rational demographics. Back when the Pill first came out, smart folk realized that cultures not advanced enough for Birth Control, or with prohibitions against it, would soon outnumber more "advanced" cultures that limited their birth rate. The growth of Gay Culture also reduces the birth rate, though, like you, I figure we have more than enough people as it is. Without the Green Revolution started and sustained by the U.S. there is no way this number of people could live on Earth without massive famines. When the price of fuel gets too high to make a profit farming??????? Bye Bye. Expect the Greenies to push homosexuality as the means for population control in the future. ( see PETA ad thread ) Look at the Eurabia clash today, as the immigrants imported into Europe ( to pay for the social programs bankrupting everyone ) keep a separate, and rapidly growing culture soon to outnumber and overwhelm the "native" ones. See France's ghettos that the police fear to enter, or Germany's restrictions on full citizenship based on ethnic rules. That stuff is going to collapse, hard and nasty. Already, today, in Holland and Canada, speaking the truth about sharia law and the goals of the jihadi can get you arrested and tried for hate crimes. That's only going to get worse, and this U.S. admin refuses to admit who the real enemy of civilization is, possibly because of the Prez's upbringing. Or just the suicidal self loathing of the leftist mob. hard to tell sometimes. |

My sis has, I believe the right idea. Any "unconventional" marriage, must have a prenup. It should address, as it's primary purpose, the welfare of any children, then secondary, property division. Because the gays have been getting divorced for years, without the marriage legalities in between. I know, I had a GF who is a Legal type. If you don't like the idea of "gay marriage", fine. Enjoy your self. At a legal minimum, a "domestic partner" status must be created, so that you can visit your partner in the hospital, ( real tragedies there with the Aids plague and old age ) deal with legal affairs when disabled, and dealing with property issues. There will be an increase in insurance costs when you allow domestic partners ( gay, straight, convenience ) to get married insurance. True. There is always an increase in insurance costs when you increase coverage. I realize that the high Mandarins of the never pay for lunch elite in Congress and the Exec. branch don't have a clue about that, since they live in a world where they pay for nothing, including "charity", and you pick up the tab. But that's the way it really is. Insurance costs also go up after the insurance companies bribe the Mandarins to pass laws they write requiring seatbelt wear, helmet use, and dull steak knives.... "to save us all money by keeping insurance costs down". So since they are going to jack the costs even after they get these laws, and they go up even more after they've been nationalized under the Total Control policy of the Progressives, who cares? And to be fair, I don't know if G-d hates Figs. I'm not fond of them either unless they are in a Newton. |
