Vegan rant. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56Zm-m8vkL8&feature =related

Penn and Teller on PETA. NOT WORK SAFE swear words, possible nudity. What do you expect from a show titled "BullShit". ( based on the idea that if you say someone is a thief, you get sued but telling all he's full of .... is ok. ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inFtOMx8nDU ( if nothing else, check out from 13:30 to 13:54 and apply to vegan rant above. )

My ancestors didn’t spend thousands of years fighting their way to the top of the food chain just so I could live on flippin’ Brussels Sprouts and carrots. Pass the beef!

I'll quit eating meat when PETA convinces lions & wolves to go vegan.

I do believe tonite's the night for my awsumm Bleu Cheese Burgers!

Got about 1.4# of chuck
A container of Kroger Gorgonzola (will use most if not all of it)
A liberal dose of raw horseradish
Breadcrumbs to balance the moisture
Either some Worcestershire or another sauce picked at random- last time I used a fancy wasabi/jalapeno hot sauce,
a good BBQ sauce will do- surprisingly, Kroger's "thick" hickory BBQ is very good...
Bacon if ya got it!

Gas grill fired up, brushed and oiled...

Only thing about these is you HAVE to stay on top of things- with all the bleu cheese mixed in the patties there WILL be flares, which is actually fine as this sears the meat- just keep turning them, about twice as much as normal.

Now I gotta figure out the sides...

Yeah, I saw that. Call it truth in advertising. Their 'spokesman' also croaked, apparently at age 29.

Sorry Froggy, beat you there. February 16, 2012 - 08:36 am:

PETA, ( see Penn and Teller show, above..NOT WORK SAFE ) supports terrorism.
Fact.

Simply, when I want to know how legit a charity is, I look at the catalog. PETA's is on glossy paper, and sells a lot of really cheap chinese crap with their logo for a lot of money. More money was spent on the catalog than the sweatshop where the "save the cuddly things" shopping bag is made. That is a serious money making company, and money and power are the #1 through infinity reasons for existing. Using neomarxist/greenie ideology to sell the cheap shopping bags is just icing on the cake for me.

In contrast, the folks who send a converted c-141 around the world to do eye operations have a catalog that is shoddy, cheap, and never sent in mass mailings. My cousin Kevin did a tour where his training as a pediatrician and nuclear engineer helped keep the decades old ex-Vietnam War transport going. In China. Out of dirt fields.

Oh! correction, I see they have finally retired the C-141 and are now using a DC-10. Congrats! That will burn much less fuel on moves between middle of freaking nowhere locations, leaving more for the actual operations of the eye hospital.

So... the Brit Daily Mail is less responsible journalism than the Blaze or Yahoo news "sideshow"????? Really? Could be.

MY link had a pic of the waitress ( model ) so I think I still win.

Comments from the judges? Can we get a ruling? ( does anyone really care? )

My attitude would be, "I went to shoot pigeons. This big dang pigeon came, so I shot it. Durn thing landed outside the game park, so I can't eat it."

Animal rights activists are Terrorists, arsonists, and insane.
Animals can't have rights.
Animals can't take responsibility.

"Turns out that US catfish producers lobbied to pass a law that prohibits anything but "traditional" catfish to be sold as catfish... the "shark" is actually a species of catfish indigenous to Vietnam"...

at catfish farms in VietNam, you see plank toilets extending over the fish ponds.

We have, I assure you, carefully made sure they are not that smart. Pigs are dangerous. Cows are big. Sheep are a danger to themselves. Then you get to chickens or smart plants on the IQ scale.

"vat grown beef" has been a staple of SF for near a hundred years. Since I eat "bacos", a vegetable paste flavored and colored to have some resemblance to food, ( fish food, but still... ) I don't have a problem with cultured pseudo meat products, as long as they are not passed off as the real thing. And they will be.

Oddly enough the first thing I though of was "Frankenstein Conquers the World"
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0059205/
Then "Reptilicus"
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0056405/

But then I'm told that the Computers taking over is insane too, right after they tell me the computer has calculated exactly how much undertime I have.
