We discuss taxes here quite often.

If taxes were limited to five or ten categories, what do you think the top five Federal tax supported categories should be?

Don't worry about order, just list at least five.

I dont beleave in any tax other than sale tax for private citizens. Money made by companys on public land should be looked into. (that needs a lot of study)

Defense.
Interstate Roads and bridges. ( aka emergency landing strips )
Environmental protection. ( Air, water, soil, dams.... no religious cult stuff. )
ICE.
NEO to Cislunar nav & com sats.

We can save Trillion$ if we outsource Congress. They haven't done a budget in 3 years, so they have no actual purpose today. Fire them. Seriously.

Cowboy, would that tax structure not hurt the poor most? As a percentage of wealth, and income?

Aes Equal protection clause requires every one pays the same percentage tax rate its the only proper course. Once you change that Progressivism rears it's nasty head. Once you force the tax code to reflect Greed your down the road we are on now.
