I view it this way. Exactly ZERO laws come out of the Executive office. ZERO. The elections are about both who will be President AND who will be in Congress. A Romney President will mean that at least SOME conservative legislation will pass. Right now with Obama, NO conservative legislation will pass. While not perfect, it's at least better than the current situation. I believe that regardless, we have gone beyond the point of no return. Civil war will happen here. I once thought that Russian professor crazy, somehow his predictions don't seem so far fetched any more:  I would amend the map just a little bit. There isn't a chance in Hell that Tennessee won't be where ever Texas is. Tennessee is the Upper Peninsula of Texas. | ||

Don't forget, it's not that the budget is too big. There is no budget. The House has voted out a budget. The Senate has either voted it down, or refused to vote. Mtjm, Ever seen those thugs shoot? They couldn't hit the side of a barn if it was covered with 4 leaf clovers. Not to mention their total lack of any kind of maintenance on said firearms. 9 times out of 10, they hit something other than what they intend to, if anything at all. The typical gang banger can't get a fire started without a cigarette lighter, has no idea how to feed himself in the absence of a fully stocked supermarket, and is just plain unlikely to figure out how to get gasoline when the power grid goes offline, and will likely starve or die of disease in fairly short order. I'm not saying they aren't dangerous. They lack basic survival skills. I  they do vote for him. It's just another nail in their own coffins. | ||

It makes their life safer. So do despots. Tyrants. Racist groups like the KKK. Corrupt politicians. Revolutionaries. The gun control laws in the US were, are and always have been a product of the Klan hating having their prey armed. That's how it started. Later versions of US gun control laws were lifted, whole, from European countries that were ruled by the most evil people on Earth, and THEY wrote those laws to disarm the Jews so they could implement the Final Solution. Before that, in Europe and Asia, arms limits on civilians were imposed by Kings, Emperors and warlords to protect tyrannical rule. Same as today. Racist tyrants hate armed free men. Always have, always will. Fast and Furious. Proof enough. We can't impeach them for complicity in smuggling, murder, and perjury. ( the Senate won't do it. ) So. Vote the ones in...out. Aesquire, yes that's my point. Mainly though I am absolutely terrified of how Mario Monti came to power in Italy last year. With the passage of NDAA here it seems that's what they are prepping for in the US. Loosely summarized. What Goldman and the ECB did last year would be the equivalent of the Fed stop reinvesting dividends on the long end of their portfolio driving up the nations borrowing costs very quickly and orchestrating a financial panic due to the rolling over of debt becoming too expensive. This created a situation where it was easy to oust the elected Belisconi or our elected president here. They replaced him with goldmanite Mario Monti via appointment without a popular election. So it would be like the Fed removing Obama without an election and appointing Lloyd Blankfein, again with no election. So anyone that gets as much money from the banks as Romney will continue to get my full wrath. This is why I feel so strongly that people who place liberty first like Dr. Paul or Gary Johnson are so incredibly important at this juncture. If we don't heed the messag of those warning us about the erosion of freedom then we may soon not have a need for threads like this discussing our presidential choice. Why ? Because it will be appointed for us by the banks or war machine. Absolutely terrifying. Romney, Gingrich, Obama, Bush, etc. are all one and the same. Be careful out there and for gods sakes just study what happened in Italy last year. | ||

So anyone that gets as much money from the banks as Romney will continue to get my full wrath. Fine. So based on bribes taken, Obama is twice as bad. Are you going to vote for him, knowing he takes more? Just because he uses the very people who bribe him to get ahead as objects of class envy to get ahead himself, doesn't make Obama the champion of the "little guy". No matter how much he claims to be on the side of the people he already has insulted while fundraising from the oh, so very 1%, he's not. Read his ghost written biographies. I certainly don't see any of the talking heads on GE owned TV telling us anything but "Romney is the one" With eyerolls. Full support for the guy who gave GE's head more money and power. It's just as important to get a R majority in the Senate, and maintain it in the House, as it is to get a different President. The last time we came close to not jacking the debt a trillion dollars every few months was with a R Congress and Bill "the perjurer" Clinton. Then again, Barack doesn't care about what Congress, the American people, or you want. Ideal for the ones who really want a D prez would be Hillary. Who, I admit, is looking better and better. Scarier and scarier too, but, what they heck. I read Hillary's thesis. It's a paean of praise for Alinsky. Well written too, no matter how much I disagree. Barry's thesis? He spent millions to make sure you didn't read it. He also called Bill a racist. I don't think that can happen here, but, you might be right considering that Dodd-Frank creates an agency with no legal limits, no recourse to the courts, no budget controlled by Congress, no head approved by Congress, and unlimited power.... You really think that they would oh, for example, declare the 2012 elections null because of fraud, and put unelected tyrants in charge? Is this where the Dept. Of Healths heavily armed private army comes into play? Mental Hygene Police? IRS Swat teams? The true legacy of this admin, in the end, may be the dread phrase "The Commissioner shall..." I do disagree that Barack and (say) Newt are "the same". Both want power. Both are probably scum from your point of view. But. One has at least a little respect for Constituional matters, while the other, clearly, does not. It may indeed be a matter of picking the less evil guy, but putting those in power out is the most important thing. If they are in, vote them out. Simplest rule of thimb. Parks, eco preservations, roads, bridges, sidewalks, bike paths are all local and state run programs. Not powers granted to the Federal Government. NASA is also not a power granted to the Federal Government. Welfare, social security, medicare, medicaid (redundancy) are NOT powers granted to the Federal Government. They are ALL failures. Subways, port authorities, public transit, are all run by local and state governments. Not powers granted to the Federal Government. If the citizens of a municipality, county, or state wish to have schools, libraries, sewers, roads, bridges, fire and police services, parks, public transit, sidewalks, bike paths, welfare, social security, medicare, medicaid, the citizens of that state can raise the taxes within its borders and pay for it. Why should the citizens of Tennessee or Texas have to pay for programs in California for which they receive no direct benefit? | ||

His tactics are a wonderful mix of Chicago politics ( as old as kings and vassals, the kind of strong arm politics practiced in Rome and Germany, and Syria ) and marxist dogma. This isn't the "revolutionary" marxism of the 19th century, but the more insidious internal, creeping marxism of the Progressive movement. Change from within. 2 questions... really, same question different guys. What was Romney's thesis about? What was Obama's thesis about? I don't know the answer to either. I've read Hillary's, ( but not GW Bush's ) I know Hillary was a A student, George a C. Mitt made a lot of money in business, Barack a lot selling biographies, and rather a lot making speeches. He didn't start out this century a multi millionaire, but he is one now. They both are rather damn rich compared to me, and I don't like either one, but I do know I'll pick the new guy over the old. But I'd like to understand their evolution of thought. So ANYONE find a copy of their thesis, or transcript, please post a link so we can compare and contrast. | ||
