With the start of the IMS show season this weekend in LA, are we going to see a new bike?! |

I wouldn't bet on it. IMS shows aren't like the bigger international shows where manufacturers unveil new bikes. More to show the bikes recently unveiled at the other shows or online. The email I got earlier this week was announcing a new "Dream bike" section that includes the new EBR 1190RS. I like you am hoping for it but not expecting it. There will be new bikes there from Triumph, Honda, Ducati, etc. Looking forward to some of those. |

I can't think of a better way to promote the brand... I thought IMS was International Motorcycle Show. |

Only thing International is the brands in the show, most of the crap for sale and maybe a few attendees. |

At this point, I'd be happy with a naked EBR bike showing the the guts, just to know that it's real. Are any Elves keeping an eye out? |

I remember an IMS a few years ago when Michael Czysz fired up the C1 in front of the entrance to our show hall. That was a crowd-pleasin' ear-candy treat! Just sayin', in case EBR is interested in a bit of sizzle at an otherwise progressively drab show. |

If he is going to the IMS show it would be a Chicago I'd bet. Thing is the display bike cannot be started. The local fire chief make sure of that going in. Battery disconnected and suppose to have no gas. |

Ethel . . Ethel . . . ETHEL . . Get me some facts . . and get'em in here right now damn you. Everybody is "kinda" right . . . The bad news is that ERIK BUELL RACING is not an exhibitor . . . the GOOD news is that an ERIK BUELL RACING 1190RS/CF will be on exhibit and each and every show in the DREAM PAVILION. Some exhibitors will be at ALL shows . . . (the folks who can foot the $250,000 per show) . . . some will be at some . . and then some really interesting bikes, that everyone wants to see . . will be in the DREAM PAVILION. THE BIG BOYS THE "CUT US SOME SLACK . . WE'RE TRYING . . . WE'RE TRYING" THE BIKES EVERYONE WANTS TO SEE BUT WHO PRESENTLY DON'T HAVE "THE LIFT" The Plan for this weekend . . . . . That clear it up? |

!!!! "(the folks who can foot the $250,000 per show)" holy crap, a quarter of a million dollars per show for those folks? I know that for a company that large its not as big a hit, but Jesus, thats a lot of money! I need to check their schedule, see if they're returning to SC this year or not. I'd like to see the E B R bike in person |

>>>>I know that for a company that large its not as big a hit, but Jesus, thats a lot of money! Even for a big company it's nothing they go into lightly. It takes a LEAST a year of planning to prepare for this kind of circuit and a staff of 25 wouldn't be hard to imagine. I served for a couple years with The White House Advance Team and many folks don't appreciate all the work involved. It also takes special folks who can think quick on their feet as the rules, written and unwritten, change from city to city. |

AK - thanks! Thats way better than Greenville SC, Charlotte is only an hour form me. Court - thinking about it, they are taking in a TON of money, over $2M just from the people that'll be there every event. I know there is a lot of work involved, but what can seriously cost THAT much money? I just find it odd that IMS is bringing in over 2M from 9 companies, plus however much from a dozen other manufacturers. Then Vendors. Then admission. They are making good |

I don't remember seeing any Victory bikes at San Mateo. Last couple years they had the full line, as I recall. |

IMS is owned and operated by the nice folks at Advanstar . . lock, stock and barrel. EBR will "be" at every show. But "be" means there will be a bike on display in the Dream Pavilion, not that there will be a booth and representatives. You will be able to see an EBR 1190RS/CF and each and every location. |

Yes Court.... but they are not who Will and I were dealing with when it came time for my bike to be shown there and Will setting a booth up. I was dealing with CycleWorld. I'd say one of the many Sponsors but main one at that time. |

I will be at the NYC show on Sunday (January 22). Will probably head uptown to the Dinosaur afterwards (but that depends on whether I rode in, or took mass transit). |

what gets me is if they are charging the bike makers $250,000 per show then why do they still need to charge $10 a head to get in!!! What a racket!! |
