I think stall-speed on this is about 120m.p.h, kinda hard to run that fast! Theses turbines ( each, times 4) burn about a gallon of fuel every 10mins.. You wouldn't want to use all your fuel just getting to altitude. They make about 50# of thrust each, not enough to get off the ground if you had to add landing gear! That's been on the news here too, I get Swiss tv as well as French. It was shot at Sion in the Valais, I know the area well, it's stunningly beautiful, one of the main routes through the Alps. | ||
