This President, who got little actual "who is this guy?" coverage from the "News Media" while running back in '08 said 'Judge me by the people with whom I surround myself.' These are the people. Judge. I'm very unhappy with the "media" on this subject. I KNOW that they go and find the crazy ones to interview, since it's more exciting. They do the same when they show up at any history buff event too. I've watched it happen in person. | ||

Roger that. The large Tea Party rallies had a couple of nutjobs (as all large gatherings do) and the media was 7/24 about the racism and nazism of the Tea Party. Now, at the OWS, antisemitism by an articulate, well-dressed LA teacher, for example, is showing its face at Occupy Other People's Money and there is ZERO coverage of it except on the so-called Faux News. The media is in 0's hip pocket. I have yet to see someone from OWS articulate a clear position. Reagan Democrats will rise up in 2012 and we Conservatives openly welcome them. Now that 0 has linked arms with both the Nazi Party and the Communist Party, he is going to pay a heavy price when the riots start. It is just a matter of time. Independents will further abandon 0 who has made one of the biggest political mistakes I have ever seen. | ||

Watch the media, then watch the actual camera footage captured by people at these protests and watch the cops beat them. Watch the media state repeatedly that there haven't been demands, watch the countless youtube videos saying those demands. You'll quickly see how the corp controlled media is controlling (or at least trying to control) public opinion. | ||

Cops beat who??? NYC has ACLU folks everywhere shorting video. The NYPD has pretty much ignored these folks' petty crimes and been nothing but courteous hosts. If you need to see for yourself .... Come to NYC abd I'll walk you right into the middle of the crowd. NYC gets an average of about 375,000 tourists a day ..... The men and women of the nypd are some of the best in the world at dealing with crowds of nuts. | ||

Completely ignoring the instructions from the Peace Officer. Then cry like babies when the Peace Officers take action and then the plastic cuffs are too tight and they got a wittle scrape and need medical assistance. Then you see people recording the arrest and hear stuff like "What's your name"; "get his badge number"; "That is Assault" and then finally... the primo words: "The World is watching".... Maybe they can make some money back by roping off a path thru protesters in that park and charge a fee for tourists to walk thru. | ||

Yeah we had no known incidents of beatings in Chicago either. In fact one of the protesters said while they didn't feel arrests were in order that the CPD was courteous. The result was the next night they left Grant park at the appropriate time and went across the street. | ||

The men and women of the nypd are some of the best in the world Having visited I agree, The dirt bags that are on wall street need to be removed, protest by day, BUT you may not camp out, the park is not set up for it. The colored woman in the vid is a racist... Huh suprize suprize., Let some one say "Get the N..... outa the government housing" (white house) and watch all hell break loose. I was in DC last week. The OW rally was just outside my hotel. I witnessed no problems at all. I am a pretty conservative person, but I too have major issues with Wall Street. I am really concerned by some of the hatred I have read in a few of the posts I have read in this thread. I admit I haven't read the whole thread, as I try to avoid the political threads on this board. Since the closure of Buell, my guess is there have been more political posts on BadWeb than motorcycle related posts. It has not been a good thing. | ||
