So Congress plundered Social Security AND the Postal Service for revenue. I guess nothing is off limits to these thieves.

I've never been a fan of the guys behind the counter (that's not entirely true) but the guys who do the actual delivering have to really work at it despite what you may have seen from Cliff Claven or Newman.

I've had the same guy since 1984 delivering our mail here at work and he truly is one of the "neither rain, nor snow, etc, etc".

Thanks Strokizator. The people who actually do the work at the USPS appreciate that many do indeed know we work hard. Don't get too upset with the window clerks, they've been cut way back and have pretty oppressive managerial "oversight". It's not even their immediate managers, but corporate HQ demanding more work with less people.
( there's also a prevailing belief that upper management is making the jobs harder to get people to quit. You get written up for anything. Like taking 2 sick days in 6 months. )

Bandm, I think your analysis is correct.
As an "I wonder".... What if Congress had to pay up 75 years of budget in advance, in 10 years, from current revenues?
