"OH SNAP!"? Huh? Who are you, Brittany Spears? Reconstitute thy manhood amigo! No, really. Go EBR 1190RS! I'm with Jumbo. Either that or the Pegasus Race Team is coming over for a visit. How cool would that be! |

Maybe Larry Pegram wants to be back on a V-twin. |

Geoff is still my 3 one choice for this program. He has been an extremely important part of the process here and i would not want too see him pushed out. I would guess there is a second bike being run purely for data. Red |

I don't think anyone is talking about replacing Geoff as the factory rider. These would be other teams also running an 1190RS. |

Owens, >>> Really shows confidence in ExBxRx, to drop 40k on the bike + everything else needed What would the "plus everything else needed" be? >>> on a very small company with no research to start with What "research" is lacking? |

For that "lacking research", if the team, whomever it may be, had gone with the GSXR1000, where would they obtain such information? Where would you expect them to finish in the race? |

The stuff to make it race ready like the Race ECM, different muffler, and other prep work to the bike like safety wire and stuff that would be needed regardless of brand. |

Taylor Knapp it is... AMA website has been updated! Very Good another quick man on Erik's bikes. I guess I can still dream to see Eslick racing one of Erik's bikes again |

I was hoping to hear what Owens imagined that entailed. What you list is pretty negligible. I'd also not be surprised if EBR is providing the bike in race ready condition. |

Another interesting development from NJMP, Team Latus is parking the Ducati and putting a Triumph under Jason DiSalvo in Daytona SportBike. http://www.roadracingworld.com/news/article/?artic le=45867 |

blake - froggy beat me to it - bodywork, ecm etc As for research - Yeah, lets use the gixxer for example, a bike that there are loads of running around and have been slowly getting refined over the years VS a bike of which less than 100 exist in the world and has only been raced a couple of times so far As for where I would expect the gixxer rider to finish - no idea. As for where i would expect Knapp to finish - no idea. I am not sure any of us here know how much time he's spent on the bike in race trim (important!) and how good he really is at riding the bike. |

ps - the pic of Knapp at the top - with the fairing on that bike it really makes the front nose look SMALL. Something that rarely happens with the R nose (and speaking of the R nose - being used by Ashley Owens in ADRL who just went 3.97 in the 1/8 recently. Pretty neat to see people appreciate the aerodynamics of the thing) |
