not bad guesses considering their history with Buell products and roadracing. maybe walt sipp lined up something? maybe its someone completely unexpected, someone known for racing I4s? Again, Im really anxious to see who stepped up to the challenge of racing this bike Really shows confidence in ExBxRx, to drop 40k on the bike + everything else needed on a very small company with no research to start with (Vs some of the other platforms with many riders to compare notes etc) |

maybe walt sipp lined up something? Last I heard he was racing an 1125 with Tim (Smoke) in the Team Challenge endurance races, on Geoff May's old 1125. |

It's OK, Court. You and I can hang out in a corner somewhere, out of the way. I checked. My dunce cap fits in the 52L topcase without too much folding/spindling/mutilating. I'll try and find my spare, too |

What if it was Jordan racing? I don't know the internals of the teams, but from the outside, it seems like that could be an epic matchup. Jordan lobbies for competitive parts from Suzuki, Suzuki pretty much says "sit down and shut up son, you will get the parts we give you". Jordan makes a good go of it anyway. Now, an American company is producing a world class sport bike... and we have a team owned by an American sports Icon. Who was told to shut up and get in line by the Japanese factory. That could be epic! |

It's the last race of the season I say it's time to announce a RMR/Geico Powersports and Erik Buell Racing partnership with Geoff May and Danny Eslick as Team riders. Danny is going to regain his championship in DSB. What better time for him to step up to Superbike and we all know he can ride Erik's bikes fast. |

jumbo - sounds good, but aint going to happen. Teams dont sign deals for 'Year X minus the last race so we can debut a new bike' Im sure it'll be another small team, a privateer |

Hybrid There you go thinking inside the box again. Danny is racing DSB not Superbike for RMR so it does not interfere with his DSB obligations and he needs to finish the races at NJ to claim his championship. Also we have all seen one race rides offered to riders in WSB and Moto GP. Why is it such a reach to apply that thinking here. me personally I think it is a perfect match. |

There must be some mistake. Danny only won in 09 because he was on a cheater bike. This can't be right. |

I know . . . . I read it on the internet. Some of us have a different opinion. I'll be at the races. Where's all the Buell cult gonna be? |

What if it was Jordan racing? Not gonna happen until the guy who runs the ream moves on and I don't see that happening any time soon. |

If it were Danny would be more fun to watch anyway. It would be a good balance as well, both Danny and Geoff are great guys. Geoff is thinking and methodical. Danny is aggressive and intuitive. We NEEDED Geoff this year to run the bike hard, but bring it home alive. Crashing was not an option. He performed spectacularly, he was a machine. But now that there are more than two of these machines, if Danny can bring some of the exciting racing to superbike that he had in sportbike, I don't care where he finishes, it would be a ton of fun to watch. |

Please let it be Eslick/ RMR. Richie is a Bueller at heart, and Danny was made to ride 'em. |

It's got to handle better than Ducati's present GP bike; even if it doesn't make quite as much horsepower. |
