I use a mesh jacket and a wetted down t-shirt underneath and it is good for about 20 miles and then it needs to be wetted down again.

Chris, I'd shave anything to cool off! Back hair is not one of the things I have to worry about! If I was one of those, my wife would not have married me.

I just pressure washed a customer vehicle. I did not mind the overspray at all. A light mist at 3000 psi is a good thing today!

It's 103 degrees in Milford, NJ at the moment and with a relative humidity of 37%, the real-feel temp is like 113 degrees. Yikes!

Typical Florida weather from mid April to mid Decemeber; 80+ degrees, 90+ humidity, little to no breeze.

I wear green and a bullet proof vest and ride a motorcycle nearly every day. I hate every minute of the heat and humidity, but what are you all complaining about?? LOL

Perfect riding weather for me is just cool enough to wear a jacket.

Well, I like the heat. I wish it would stay hot year-around as I cannot stand the cold. I've been told to "stop being a pussy" and stuff like that when it's frosty outside. But when it heats up to triple digits, I don't hear that kind of talk anymore. Funny how that is.

If survival of the fittest involved surviving the heat, I would win.

Winter was colder than normal here, got into the single digits a couple of times at night.

So far summer is about normal, maybe a little cooler. Haven't hit 100 yet. Nights are cool, mid fifties or sixties.
Thats why I like the high desert.

I read this in today's paper...

Paul and his wife Lorna had moved to Texas and were experiencing their first real heat wave.
"It's just too hot to wear clothes today," complained Paul as he stepped out of the shower. "Honey, what do you think the neighbors would think if I mowed the lawn like this?"
"They'd probably think I married you for your money."

N. Fla again: Took the Blast out this AM. 96F by 12:00 w/85% humidity.
Currently sitting in/by pool ingesting beers!
Ribs tonight, so all is well!
I hate the heat. My wife loves it.
She earns the money, so here we stay.
I'm looking forward to October when riding a bike in full gear will not involve any weight loss/dehydration.
Stay safe & drink lotsa water if you are outside.

Well, FINALLY we got a good, steady, soaking rain yesterday evening, just before dark- clouds moved in oh so slowly, nice thunder occasionally- I'd just finished replacing a bad fan on the GF's car, the one that regulates/cools the A/C circuit, then got some killer bacon cheeseburgers with mushrooms on the grill- had them with some homemade potato salad and corn...

Very nice end to the day. I just sat outside for a bit as darkness descended, cool air and light rain covering me... Ahhhhhh.....

There's a forecast for more rain, maybe, this afternoon...

So this heat in the Northern hemisphere just proves 2 things.

1. Weather happens. ( I blame Al Gore )

2. You can't have electric cars without more electric power being generated..

Temps over 90f can be hard on a lot of people. I just got the call from the repair shop, and it's $2300+ to fix the Van's AC before I take it to Pennsic. Not going to happen. Bummed.

Finally rained here, it started about an hour ago, the power finally came back on about twenty minutes ago.

I just mowed about half the lawn yesterday, I can hear it growing again. It is harassing me. This is costing me $50 a week for fuel to mow.....no wonder I don't have time to ride my Buell. I sure am getting a lot of miles in on the JD though!
