just posted a thread, think there is something wrong with it.
Look at these two pictures and when they were taken
I posted a thread at 12:25
it says that the last poster was digital at 12:35 but that only ONE post has been made.
When you open it it only shows mine

Whats up with this?




and I've tried refreshing page a few times

To be somewhat fair, the time of post and the showed time has been off 10min for like 2-3 years now.

For instance, my last post says it was posed at 1:40am. I looked at my computer, phone, clock ect and it said 1:29am.. I said something about this last year and it never gained att.
Don't really matter i gues.

If somebody posted after you, and then deleted the post I think the time sticks, IIRC.

Matt has it right. We corrected the server clock not too darn long ago. Looks like it needs it again. OS ought to have a feature for self-correcting that you'd think. Will advise sysadmin.

Oh, I wasnt speaking about the time being off of the ACTUAL time, but I was posting about looking at the time of posts (how I'd posted at 12:25, that it stated that there was a post at 12:35 etc)

I didnt know that if someone deleted a post that it'd still show up that they posted. Learn something new every day.

If the server is virtual (IE running under vmware) and the vmware tools aren't installed. It can cause havoc with clock.

Also if the clock gets too far out of sync, NTP won't sync it anymore.. : )

But I think you can purchase any black magic marker for adding a big black letter N in front of all Obama bumper stickers as well as any signs you find. Also,.. for that stupid Obama-pepsi-like circle logo... an nice black "X" over it works quite well.
