You couldn't pick a better narrator than Samuel L Jackson! I love how he gives it the Pulp Fiction treatment! It's also a free audible book download.

I'd lay down with the kids to read and before you know it I was nodding off woken up again because the kids were yelling to the wife,"Mom, Dads asleep again". Just try skipping parts, doesn't work, "Dad you missed some, read it again". Yeah I remember that stuff.

I'm at a loss for words. At the risk of exposing myself to ridicule and I do know it's supposed to be a joke but would anybody read this book to their kids? Does anybody really talk to their kids like that (besides S.E. Jackson)? I listened to a little and at first it was funny and rang a bit true but - seriously?

Reading books to my little girls is one of the best memories I have. I dunno, maybe I'm an old fart.

Was waiting for someone to get righteous.

I bought it more as a novelty, it's f*cking funny. I will read it to him at least once while he can't really understand what I'm saying. It'll be funny when he's grown.
