I am sorry that came to pass, it is good that people cared for him on his last days. Hopefully there will be other Jacks that need your care in the times ahead. EZ
I Hope someday soon to open our door to another there are so many that need a home to call there own for now I will miss the dog who found me when he needed me most and pray that he is in a better place and at peace
Got my german shepherd at 6 weeks old he is two and a half years old not and I love him to death. He is a true German breed german shepherd and his name is Rossi.
Thank you all very much. He has been a great loving family dog that I hope to have for many years. I will try to throw up some more better pictures later.
Lost my dog Buster last week. He was nearly 14, yellow Lab. He and I were in 38 states on two different cross country trips over his life. He could recognize the sound of my Buell a block away and was waiting at the garage door when I opened it. It's sad to open that door the last few days...
The day we met at the humane society. She was picked up as a stray, estimated 1 or 2 years old. Border terrier mix. She's killed 4 voles since we got her. Great little dog.
dfbutler sorry for your loss. I can truely understand that. I didnt get another dog after my first shepherd for 3 years until my heart was broken and I decided to buy a dog since he would stay around and love me always.
pics as promised to show his size, the other shepherd is my parents dog. he is an american german shepherd
Worrying news about my great dane Kelee. She's been having problems with her back leg and we took her in to the vet. The vet and I were both worried it would be hip displasia. But the x-rays showed something quite surprising. Her pelvis has developed in an odd way that vet believes could only be a birth defect. The abnormal growth is putting pressure on her nerves. This may explain why shes always been sensitive about her hind quarters.
We have an appointment to see a specialist Friday to see if there is anything that can be done. This is her and Buddy on the couch where she always wants to be.
I had a great dane named Buddy as a kid, we even had our own room and shared a bed. He'd constantly knock over the kitchen table chasing mom's little dog, and if we where outside in the yard, my little 4 year old butt would be found either tossed fresh onto the ground for improper riding of dog, or on top of dog, riding him around the yard. He never seemed to mind, and we where always found together - fun memories.

D.D. Great pics as always! & Blake... there is something about that psycho looking dog of yours that I like.... he looks like he should be chewing on a Cape Buffalo carcass.... or something to that effect
Aside from being a big lap dog, you pretty much nailed it Mark. The best he does here at home is squirrel, possum, toad, birds and the odd box turtle. Will be interesting to see his first encounter with an armadillo.
