Unfortunately I will not be able to attend HC this year, about a year ago my father-in-law walked into his house after mowing the lawn, got a water out of the fridge and suffered an massive MI. The good news is he was gone before he hit the floor. No suffering. My wife's family has planned a memorial service for him on Saturday June 4th. This puts me out of the HC fun. However we will celebrate the life of great man.  I, too would love a shirt so....RD...if you can send me a pay pal link I will send you the shirt fee and shipping cost. We need a spot at the track where folks can sit down and watch the races and hang out. We are not going to have a demo truck or a tent so we need to pick a spot. Where do you all think? I like Canada Corner, often some good passing take place there. | ||

To Court and whoever did the shirt design: You'll need more shirts!! Great job on the design! Those things rock! Court: Thanks for the "clarification" on the activities. ...But no clowns? WHAT??? (I think some posted earlier in this thread. Sorry...couldn't resist!) I suspect those that show up will NOT be disappointed. Like last year, I will have a battery for an XB charged up and 50 miles from East Troy if someone needs an emergency battery to get home. Can someone bring a paint pen in case I have to sign bikes for Erik? Silver paint is preferred. | ||

In terms of bringing . . . . we could use some paint pens I think blue or red would look cool on the white shirt and silver on the navy blue shirt. . . We could use . . if someone lives in the area . . a couple coolers. I may end up asking folks who are driving to bring 8 or 10 bottles of water and get a volunteer to get ice . . the weather is looking like it will be PERFECT! If anyone in the area has one of those pop up tents and a table great . . . if not . . we can easily improvise. Registration starts at . . . hey wait . . there is no registration! . . if you are there you are there. . . The sum total of the XXL . . . if memory serves was like 8. . . I called to add more today and they are already shipped. If we need to . . I can check on ordering some more. I saw the mock up and it is off the charts cool in my opinion . . . . zero, by the way, credit goes to me . . If the "Anonymous Talent" doesn't step up for a bow soon we may have a contest for a free shirt to see if someone can guess who the artist is. I'll tell you how good the Artist's eye is . . . the first comment, upon looking at my proposed design was . . "that pretty much sucks". My comment is "you design it . . you've got 20 minutes". It was done in 7 . . .I hate folks with talent! You Buell fanatics are some amazing folks ! By the way . . . I feel like I need to apologize in advance. My bleeding heart liberal friend Dave Gess is on a roll . . .he's so excited about Homecoming that he's . . . well, he's just not right. I've been here before . . when Dave starts getting wound up . . . things can spin out of control fairly easily. It was him that got Erik and I nearly kicked out of Erik's office just 4 years ago . . Damn, can't make it AGAIN and I'm in the States!!! Court, that shirt is AWESOME and I would love to have one in an XL. Signed would be great but would love to have one any way I can get one. I'd even send some extra $$ to be given to Erik Buell Racing's racing budget. | ||

Don't go crazy . . . I can find something when I get in . . no need for anyone to miss riding (it's going to be a perfect day) and I'm sure we can make arrangements . . frankly . . if I have to run to the E-ZShop and get a couple cases of water and drink it at room temp . . I doubt, given the things I've had to drink in my life, that it'll hurt me! Note to self . . next year . . . don't fall victim to the "there's no enthusiasm" posts and order 15 t-shirts. | ||

I already made arrangements to have another batch run the week after next if we need to. We actually have more than 15 but we'll see how they hold out. I'm like you . . . the thing ABSOLUTELY rocks in both white and in the blue. Color idea was roughly stolen from the 1997 Buell Academy . . that was white print, a real simple design that simply said BUELL, on a navy blue. But . . the art . . Oh . . THE ART . . all credit for that goes to the AA (Anonymous Artist) who looked at my design and promptly said "that sucks" . . and a bit of credit to my dear SCU who said "see I told you so". Very cool stuff . . . this is going to be an absolute hoot! | ||

Funnier still was that I had been showing him my new Zoom digital recorder. I put the damn thing back in my bag but somehow screwed up when I went to turn it off . . all 90 minutes lives in live stereo . . including the knock on the door. I'm still checking to see if I can get my camping gear into a cooler instead of the huge plastic box I used last year. If I can I will have a large cooler there. If not, Court drinks warm water.  |
