I was kinda young then, but is that kinda like a "Police Action"?

WHERE ARE ALL THE PROTESTERS???

Every time I turn on the news, the hypocrisy just blows me away.

<sigh>

Make love

Not Kinetic Military Action

What if you LOVE making Kinetic Military Action? Does that answer both sides of the debate?

Actually I suspect that Kinetic Military Action is the Prez's personal acronym of his attitude towards us. Kinda like Bender without the charm and shiny metal.

I love how Soviet Generals had to come up with a phrase to use with their political masters to explain what was real and not a lie for the good of the political masters. "Objective reality". Without invoking that phrase, carefully and seldom, it was assumed they were just bs'ing like everyone else.

It's great how the 60 day deadline specified by the War Powers Act is being ignored on the basis that the War Powers Act isn't Constitutional. Without the War Powers Act the President doesn't have the authority to do what he did in the first place. At this point I do believe that he has stepped into impeachable territory. Personally I would prefer to remove him by election, but make it clear that failing that we are looking at impeachment with the new House and Senate.

Caution--CAUTION--Caution
From the way he is trying to creat so much unrest Is there a chance he could just declare marshal law just before election. I dont trust him.

I'm on the fence on this one. Members of Congress were begging for the US to intervene. Kind of silly to make the pres go back and ask permission from the folks who wanted him to take action, ins't it? Still, we should be crossing the T's and such.

"WHERE ARE ALL THE PROTESTERS???"

The buses aren't being chartered, so the protesters won't show up. If there was any doubt the code pink ladies (and I use the term loosely) were simply shills for the left, the deafening lack of outrage over Libya should put that to bed.

It's not silly at all. It is the responsibility of Congress, according to the Constitution to decide if we go to war. To ignore this is to once again ignore the Constitution, the very foundation of our government. Keep in mind that there were also members of Congress that said we shouldn't intervene. At this point we haven't even defined what we are doing there, and we have given control of our military over to foreign powers. If it's the right thing to do then define it, explain it, and convince the powers that be that it's right. Until then it is as wrong as can be.
