Update....more prayers needed!! Tonya is going home for the night. Jim is still at UNC because one of his calves down to his foot has pain and is cool to the touch. They found some particles in the blood vessels of his leg and having difficulty finding his pedal (foot) pulse. They are going to do an angiogram tomorrow to determine what is going on. I will keep you posted as I know more tomorrow. Prayers really needed. Jim is a 40 year old vibrant man who has his whole life ahead of him. He has a big heart and a wonderful spirit. | ||

Thank you everyone for the thoughts and prayers, for both myself and my family! Pretty routine surgery has turned into something I am really worried about. I know I have a huge family rooting me on and will post back when I can. Off for some rest. | ||

Get well soon fellow Bueller. Not only stated on my license, but got a jump on the donation process 11 years ago when I gave a kidney to my wife. They can harvest the rest when I no longer need 'em.... When they say MC riders are organ donors I proudly lift my shirt, done. | ||

Update from Tonya....angiogram was done at 6:30. Should have then 30 minutes or so. Almost 4 hours later she sees Jim. They ended up having to put a stint in his leg due to the blood clots. He's very groggy and the doctor has not come to see her yet. They have moved him to another room/floor for closer observation. Will post as I get more from Tonya. Keep praying! | ||

Jim currently can only lay flat on his back and has been instructed not to move his leg. I've not heard from Tonya this morning, but will post as soon as I do. Keep those prayers coming! | ||

Update from Tonya.... Jim is having pain in his heel and ankle and a burning sensation that can't be relieved. They've just taken him down to explore some more with the angiogram. It will take a few hours and then he's off to dialysis for 4 hours. She will text me later and let me know what they find out. Keep praying!!!! | ||

Keep praying!!!! Goes without saying. My heart goes out to Jim of course, but bless Tonya's heart. I know this is hard on her as well. |
