Folks, ten auctions end tonight, 4/22/11. Y'all have done a spectacular job supporting Lynn in her fundraiser and U4euh and Tonya in this one. Mucho graces to Kristi/Ulywife and Prior/Prior for tag-teaming on this deal, and Denise for covering for me on the home and w*rkfront while I've been helping to spin plates.
BadWeB does, indeed, good and truly rock.

We'd like to take a moment and update and thank. First, went to UNC today for a follow up and to get staples removed from my abdomen. Doc says that everything looks normal and recovery is going as she would like to see it, maybe a little better than she'd expected! Skin had healed so well that the staples were practically falling out on their own. Found out that I have two layers of internal stitching that was covered by the skin staples on the outer layer. Underneath is getting hard and she said that is a good and normal sign for the type of stitching they done. May 4th is the follow up day to go in and continue on with the transplant process. This will involve, Psych evaluation, financial structures, health and dental checks. She'd remembered that I was a MC rider(long story, remind me to tell you........) and told me not to be riding for a couple more weeks, bummer but makes the first ride that much better!
Now to all of you that have donated, bidded, and won, THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. Because of the timing of the first surgery and the following complications, Tonya ended up taking the equivalent of a week off from work. She won't admit it to me but she was stressed out about bills until she seen me on BadWeb one night with tears in my eyes. I showed her all the things everyone was saying, and so many of the treasured items that were offered for auction. To say we both were speechless is an understatement. I am a member of several different forums, 7 to be exact, and not one single other board can even hold a match to BadWeb and its members. I asked Kristi earlier today how I can even begin to thank everyone, and she told me to pay it forward and be myself. Well myself is struggling still, so I at least had to put it into words here. SO Thank You once again and I look forward to meeting each and everyone of you someday and riding together!
Kristi/Prior/Ferris/ & Denise- You 4 stepped up and put this into motion, words aren't enough. The next mountain grass expedition will be very exciting! Can't wait to see you all in person!
BigDaddy, Twig, M2NC, Webe, Ulywife, Jerry and Desisea, and anyone else who stopped by and I was to out of it to remember, thanks for stopping by, your visits really brightened my days!
And a big thanks to Blake for allowing this community to come together for times like this!
