I think he's complaining about the joke not being technically correct. The Cliches are improper. 7-11's are mostly Indian owned, & motel6's have a mix of immigrant and native management. Cab drivers are only Egyptian in certain areas, Pakistani's dominate in others.... and after all, Obama isn't Egyptian.... A little like complaining that blondes are not really stupid, so the jokes are wrong. The dorks, comment though, is simple opinion, and not one I'd argue with. Now excuse me while I load drivers on my buddies hard drive, then I'm going to load up Halo ODST. | ||

What I think is funny about Rocket's blanket judgment is that he uses this one post to decide that things are going downhill. He trolls and trolls and trolls until he finds one thing he considers juvenile and then paints us all with the same brush. It's OK, I don't really expect much else. Hmmm... perhaps the next suicide bomber who kills 30 people in a coffee shop will consider the political incorrectness of his actions before he hits the button on his vest. Or maybe one of our friends living in the "world's largest democracy" will set the caste system aside and marry someone he loves with a slightly darker skin tone than his own, regardless of political correctness. When I see a guy who busted his ass to make sure Buellers had a good time being referred to as a troll, it makes me agree with his sentiments. Badweb used to be a Buell oriented forum. Crusty. When somebody lurks around and doesn't contribute anything useful for extended periods of time and then chimes in with a cheap shot, that's called trolling. Nobody is saying he hasn't been a major contributor to the overall good times which were had by so many on this forum and the Buell community at large. What he did is called trolling. For doing so, he's a troll. I call things as I see them, and it doesn't make me superior. If you think that "bullshit" has become "prevalent" here, then perhaps you should take it up with the forum's owner and moderators. Maybe you know of a better forum where you would rather spend your time? I doubt it. I've searched long and hard, haven't found a better board to hang out on. I've seen so many people here claim they would never be back, and with one exception I can think of, they all seem to come back anyway. Might be something to that, don't you think? | ||

I love jokes, I love to laugh. But seriously, its just not funny if its not even close to true. I mean, if your goal is to use stereotypes while making the jokes then at least get your sterotypes RIGHT. The ones in the joke werent even accurate for stereotypes, I think it was more 'who isnt white, black, asian, or hispanic....lets lump those together for this joke' |
