Years ago after being away from motorcyles for years while pursuing little green fish on the tournament trail, I made the mistake of going to Gainesville for one of the Prostar races....while I was there, I saw one of Dave Schultz's early Kawi Z-1 prostock bikes on display. I was smitten to build a similar bike....small tire, wire wheels, steel tank, fenders, side covers, etc...1075cc self built motor including porting, set up and tuning. Bike ran 9.24 on motor...first pass on nitrous (40hp shot) it ran 8.80 @ 157...when I got back to the pits...a fellow racer walked up, gave me a handshake and said " DAMN, thats a fast1075. That became my "handle" on dragbike.com ....have kept it ever since. |

Was joining a club, never said much(can tell by the number of my posts) anytime I hung out with the members, basically just wanted to ride. So since I didn’t say much, and stood with my arms folded in front of me they started joking (I think) that I might be a federal agent snooping on the club. So they started calling me FED……… |

I'm an active member of my local snowmobile club called West Rome Riders. First time I signed up for an internet discussion board was for a snowmobile related one, so I chose my handle to give others some insight as to where I'm from. I use the same handle on other forums I register for. |

When I first joined Badweb, JohnJ (my handle on the ATC site) was already taken. My best friend, who was 19 years younger than me, called me a "Crusty Old Fart", so I tried Crusty and it took. |

I took 5 or 6 years of rapier fighting lessons, with a bit of katana (they liked to call it "okami" style) from time to time. I SUCK at katana, but feel like I have an actual knack with rapiers. I've always had a thing for swords, ever since I was a wee little squirt. Beats the hell outta playing baseball or bowling. ~SM |

Mine doesn't mean what most think it does, well part of it anyway. BAD(my initials) LIONS FAN (fan of the Detroit Lions). The fact that my nickname refers to the lions as bad or myself as a bad fan of the lions is pure luck and damn funny. (Message edited by Badlionsfan on February 15, 2011) |

My original handle was "Buellish1".After the great badweb crash in '99 or 2000, I couldn't get it back.Blake said someone had beat me to it.So I became Buellish and I think it's pretty self-explanatory.Out of all the bikes I've owned they are my favorite. |

My dog's name. I named him after 19th century American born artist James Abbott McNeill Whistler because as a puppy his gray coat reminded me of some of the grays Whistler used in his palette.

Back in the days before the internet was open to the public, all we had was Telnet and BBS's to play with. I had to get into all the fun, so I built a computer with a blazing fast 9600bps I was always trying to tweak it and often broke it. I would head over to the local guru's house to find out how to fix it. Whenever he saw me coming, he'd say, "here comes the Glitchbeast" After a while it got shortened to Glitch, a lot of people know me as Glitch rather than Dave... Anyone here remember Wildcat BBS? |

It is a mashup of my given name. Brinton - Old family name. Father has some enlistment papers of relatives from both the Revolutionary and Civil wars with the name. Didn't sign up with my "assigned" nick. Friend got tongue-tied trying to say "Brinton" one day and suddenly exclaimed, "Whatever, you're just B now." So now I'm JustBNow or more often, well, just "B". |
