I've been thinking about starting this thread for some time now because I've been curious about some of the names I see on here and since 86129squids explained his I thought I'd go ahead and start it. Mine: When I first got the Buell 11 years ago I started riding with some cool old guys here in town, most of them retired and most of them cruiser riders. With me being the only sport/street bike they gave me the nickname Rocket. When I joined Badweb a few years later there were already some Rockets on here so to differentiate myself I added the Ky. (for the state, not the lube So there you have it, how'd you get yours? |

Slow In Fast Out. Just what came to mind when I wanted to jump into discussions. Why do they call it Kentucky Jelly? What the heck goes on down there? |

Wish mine were more imaginative - the first forum I ever joined was for my first street bike, a 2004 Harley Sportster XL1200R. I had just ordered it and was too excited to think about anything else. I now keep the same handle for any forum I join, be it bikes (Buells included), airplanes, firearms, cars, music, etc... |

Zane is my first name. It's uncommon enough I didn't worry if it had been taken yet or not. My father was a major league history buff. I'm named for the early American explorer Col. Isaac Zane. He opened up parts of the Northwest Territories that later became Ohio, where I’m from. |

Masters = Stirz. I kept the 007 from a previous handle on another site - too hard to remember what name to use where.... killed off too many cells I actually had use for. |

Masters as in your last name Stirz? That's my last name as well. Xbniner = first bike and 9R sounds like niner. |

Been using some form of it since the late 80's or early 90's (dial up Compuserve days). has there been an internet that long? 9 baud modems... the good ole days. It's the hydraulic cylinder that tilts the mast fore and aft on a forklift. Was in the heavy equipment repair biz for a couple of decades. |

Reepicheep, from the CS Lewis Chronicals of Narnia series (the book, not the movies ). He was the character that always appealed to me the most. Perhaps because he tried to be pure and selfless of heart and action. Perhaps it was because he made it clear it is what you do, not what you are. Perhaps because he was the smallest, but would fight the hardest, for Aslan. |

Dad gave me mine. I'm a night person. When the night returns just like a friend... When the evening comes to set me free... When the quiet hours that wait beyond the day make peaceful sounds in me... -Neil Diamond |

My hubby had the first Uly in eastern NC. Seemed appropriate since I was riding with him and not solo yet. Poor guy now gets taunted with Mr. Ulywife or Ulyhusband. Good thing he takes it well! |

My dad and best friend poked fun at me because my S2 looked purple in the sunlight. It's Black Sapphire not Parkway Blue (which really does look barney purple) Of course I argued that it's more blue, not purple. I use the handle "Torque" on other forums because that's what I like about my bike. I would switch to that here but it's already taken and most people here know me as Not_Purple, plus don't want to give up my 2003 registration date. |

Mine was a nickname given to me by one of the upperclassmen when I was a Plebe at US Naval Academy. Brin is the first part of my last name, and then he added Nutz. It's supposed to be BrinNutz or with a space. But this BB software doesn't recognize those...old. |

The BRAG group I was starting in Columbus Ohio was going to be called... Wolf Ridge Riders The Capital Building sets on what was called "Wolf's Ridge" way back in the day so I thought Wolf Ridge Riders would make a cool name..... NOW... knowing what I know about BADWEB and the peeps here... I would have just went with my last name instead of Wolfridgerider. |

I had a field superintendent who called everybody "Strokizator" or "Stroke" for short. I figured it was unique enough to use here. |
