that does rock! wish i was that good. i have drifted the bike more then a few times, but still haven't got it down to where i can just do it on call. its more a balls out corner at the track where the rear starts to step out so i make the most of it,have some fun, and light it up. turn 5 at blackhawk is a good place where it likes to happen if your getting after it enough.

one of these days i'll have a bike i care less about, then... game on!

Fun to watch!
Gotta give some credit to the RC car and camera guy taking some of those shots also! It would have to be fairly fast to keep up. I liked when it lines up with the bike at the end of film.

That was awesome! So much for the argument that a bike with an extended swing arm cant corner and manuver.

Stretching it makes it easier to spin up. Not trying to take anything away from the guy, just sayin'. I also saw what appeared to be a brake pedal where the shifter would normally be ??? Maybe the bike has an air shifter or equivalent.

Why would anyone want to wreck and RX-7 by putting a piston motor in it?

ummm so that the car can be enjoyed without the worry of overheating, or blowing an Apex seal for more than one drive......)

It depends entirely on what the owner wants out of the car.

If you want a bulletproof powerplant that can take abuse and has enough torque to spin the earth in the other direction then it's very difficult to beat a small black Chevrolet.

If you want a very unique engine that's original to the design and intent of the car and are going to take the time to modify properly then the twin turbo running sequential or parallel or even a single turbo can make some really good power too.

My experience has been that if you detonate with a piston engine you can just back off a bit, if you detonate w/a turbocharged rotary then it's already too late.

Once of my favorite signs: Turbocharged rotary, beware of flying apex seals.
