yes but when you are packing it is time to garage sell and off load half of it.... anohter half when you get to the new place,, and by new years, just the important stuff remains. my goal is to get everything down to the back of my pick up, and a trailer for the bikes, gone on a whim at a moments notice. | ||

Char, if you just leave everything in storage long enough, they sell it for you and then you wouldn't have to go back.....problem solved! Basement Bobby has a camping trailer with all of his most important belongings in it sitting on a cement pad at an abandoned farm, and he hasn't been back for anything since and he is making out just fine. I give the roof on the trialer another 2 years, and trees are already starting to grow up over the roof of the trailer, chaos will prevail! I was sitting on the couch just last night dreaming about Colorado. I truly envy you. | ||

Who is Basement Bobby, your alter ego? I hate to admit it, but I like my 'stuff'... In 1995, 1996, 2001, etc. I got it all condensed down to a backpack or a car. Then 2002 came the M2L which complicated things a little bit... I really wish it was March, which would make perfect timing to head to Miami on the Piglet and then just roam... Now I am considering the option of trailering somewhere I can leave the car and trailer... It will get interesting in the next 30+ days for sure... keepin the faith...  | ||

If you want a place to "layover" between Pensacola and Tampa my wife and I have a place in Tallahassee for you to lay your weary head.... and if you just want to explore the "forgotten coast" you can leave your stuff in the driveway and take all the time you want. | ||

Awesome... it is sortof nuts at the moment... paperwork and more paperwork... wondering if I might make my friend a "power of attorney" to handle the financial obligations for me if he is willing... anyone have any experience with this let me know... I have a feeling, the more I talk to my friend about it though, the harder it will be for him to not come with me... but he has 8 motorcycles and 3 properties... and just got the lay off after 15 years at the same place... Oh well, it will all work out... starting to make repeated trips to Good Will today... funny how much you can accumulate in ten years... | ||

Actually today was a balmy 25 when i woke up. However yesterday was so cold the frost never came off my hood on the hour drive to work. Air temp was 3 to -4 on that drive which was still better than the 10 degrees the day before with 20 mile an hour winds. | ||
