Probably not the most popular honeymoon destination.

There was another thread on here somewhere about a gal that rides quite a bit in that area - good article, as I recall: something about "you can't get too far off the road, or into the Red Woods, lest you get a lethal dose (to this day - and for a few more decades/centuries). Good pavement, no traffic, mutant critters - sounds like southern Utah.

Still a pretty cool writeup. Makes you realize what it is like to live in a country that doesn't really care too much about you.

Judging from the desolation, not a place I'm likely to spend my vacation dollars. You have to wonder what effects she will experience from her exposure taking the pics

Nukes frighten me...

I have drilled through remnant mine field explosives... seen people who drink groundwater that has a couple of inches of free product (gasoline) floating on it... a forced shutdown of all drilling and production operations due to hydrogen sulfide gas... and worked in the shadow of an active phenol plant... all which is a little creepy...

But nukes scare me... you can't see, smell or taste them, the damage is invisible too... that is some crazy sh*t... you couldn't pay me a million dollars to go anywhere near there... why would anyone want to go there... no thanks... seeing it on the internet is enough for me...
