I'm guessing short throw clutch so he can hang on while engaging. Back sprocket was about the size of a Buell rear pulley too.

i think Danger is correct, you can see the other lever has a small tube going to a resevoir mounted in the center of the bars.

A lot of interchangeable parts from the 636 to the Z1K. I jumped the gun, saw my speedo tucked inside the fairing and just figured it was a Z.
