Just got done getting all the utilities turned on so now all that's left is to pick up the keys tomorrow and wait for the cable guy and furniture to be delivered on Saturday. Then I fly to California to buy a van, rent a trailer and haul my stuff out here. Mom will be glad to have her garage back by this time I am sure. Right now sitting at the tire shop getting a plug because the water department's parking lot gave me a pointy gift through the tread. Oh well if that's the worst thing that happens then I am in great shape. There will be an open invite to a housewarming BBQ after we get Christmas out of the way. Back yard is fairly ginormous and I also have the adjacent pool with giant covered patio area complete with BBQ facilities and tons of parking. Party at my place, indeed! Once I'm finished getting my girl and her kids settled in, I will fly home and drive back with all my stuff.
