Excellent! Not MacArthur Park, Or Rocket Man, ( his awesome hit singles ) but Shatner's still got it. I love how his backup singers are wearing his outfits from 3 tv shows. | ||

ah, all karoke should be done as shatner too many tequila shots and I did a rendition of Frankie goes to Hollywood Relax.... somebody said they were going to post it, it could be out there in the interwebz. It is indeed the last time I do karoke... or that much tequila | ||

Over at a bud's, helping with an armor workshop. Teaching college kids how to cut, deburr, and shape metal. The subject of Shatner's "Rocket Man", ( and Stewie's version ) came up, and while my Bud & I praised the Genius that is Shatner, we made the kids watch it on Youtube. The reactions of horror and disbelief....priceless. The concept of "Acting" a pop song as a slam on the Hippie & Beat generations, the over serious, self important poets & artists....while never, ever, ever admitting it is comedy or parody....that just makes it funnier to me.
