hahaha That grover video was great!! But anywayz .. I absolutely despise gays! Where I come from, you say you're gay, you're dead .. literally. But no, here in america you're free to do whatever. Even my aunts' ex-husband .. a gay child molester .. is out of jail after less than two years. In Somalia where my friend is from, they woulda' chopped off his hand. No joke. My rant is done .. I admit I haven't read every post. Sorry, but most of this is silly. ( love the old spice ads ) On Don't Ask Don't Tell. It sucks. It was put in place by a Guy who really would have had a better time in life if the wife ( and the press ) wasn't allowed to ask him if he's fooling around. DADT breeds contempt for authority, by gay's and straights. DADT enforces a closet on only gays. DADT makes people more prone to blackmail and exploitation. DADT didn't change one bit the obsolete and Victorian moral code that makes it shameful to have & enjoy sex. The UCMJ properly addresses the issues with sex that matter. Sex with someone in your chain of command has inherent favoritism & harassment issues. Sex on duty is cheating on your pay, and in many cases, such as guard duty, are dereliction. I think That pretty much covers it. It's the 21st century. The military should insist on decorum, and everyone should just get over it. Gotta have rules that make sense. How hard can that be? Besides, I really want to see the all volunteer Xena Division. Consenting adult humans have sex. With who is their business. It's funny, tragic, and weird in the extreeem, awkward, messy, scary stuff. Happens every day. Politeness says' you don't wag your private parts at people. Just saying. There's other rude things too. What would your Mom say? Hey, I'm even all for public nudity. If you're pretty. Otherwise, wear a burka. You guys too. Feel free to disagree with my attitudes on lifes funniest subject. | ||

Not sure why some straight men hate gay men so much. If anything they are doing them a favor. For each gay couple there are two extra women with nothing to do on Friday night. The homosexual "condition" is no different than the urge I get occasionally to lie when it may be convenient, or engage in pre-marital sex while the entire world says it's the norm, or for a child to disobey their parents because instant gratification takes priority over what God has commanded. So you're saying that homosexuality is a common urge for all people and that gays are just the only ones giving in to this "sin" I wonder what's wrong with me cause I've never had to overcome any desires to have sex with man no matter how desperate I was for sex. I think the only people that ever choose to be gay are prisoners (the guy getting raped probably isn't choosing that though) But I think that's some twisted psychotic behavior that's pretty distant from typical homosexuals. | ||

I've never felt the urge to steal something, or to murder another person. That doesn't mean that those desires don't present themselves to some other people. Lying and premarital sex were just two examples I used of temptations that are present in my life. Temptations that I must resist in order to live according to what I believe is His plan for my life. Each time I've posted to this thread, I have tried not to cast judgment on those who choose to practice homosexuality. That's not my place, and I hope I haven't given the impression of doing so. I do feel that it is my duty as a follower of Christ to share relevant portions of scripture in any discussion like this. What any reader decides based on the knowledge those scriptures contain is their choice. You know I pretty much disagree with DADT but I can't stand it when one of my weekly shows starts shoveling the homosexual themes down my throat. Its too embarrassing to even admit I watch it anyways. But the point is they bring in gay characters in left and right as if their program will change your outlook on it. | ||

I think it is great gay men/women want to serve their country and are willing to fight and die for it. I personally would not have a problem fighting next to a gay soldier. I feel a bullet is a bullet, and does not care what it hits. That said, the 9th circuit judge is wrong. Shoving this down the military's throat will not strengthen our military, it will weaken it. Good soldiers will walk away because of this. Soldiers that have been in a long time and are important to it's functioning. While those soldiers are being replaced and effectiveness is lessened. Other countries may be doing this, but America is not other countries. Other countries are not as active or paying the cost on a world scale America is. While it was getting there, now is too soon. Necessity would have brought integration on it's own accord in the not too distant future. The military is going to pay a high price for this, which means we all will. I believe this is going to cost lives. On the battle field in decreased moral and attention, and away from the battle field. Openly gay soldiers are going to get attacked. RIGHT OR WRONG, it will happen. And when it does, EVERYBODY gets hurt, and everybody will pay. | ||

I loved watching Grey's. Haven't seen the last two seasons, so I'm way out of the loop. Know they killed off George, who I liked as a character btw. Guess the shows jumped the shark... I live too far away for over the air tv, and don't have cable/sat. I do watch some tv via internet. Mostly netflix. But Tuesdays are for Sons of Anarchy over at my buddies! Man-opera  | ||

Is beastiality the same kind of situation wrt preference as homosexuality? Homosexual animals? One male animal humping on another male animal proves they are homosexual? I'm unconvinced. One trip to the dog park is all you need to learn the difference. The activist homosexuals have injected a lot of dishonest propaganda into the issue. Do as you like in private among connecting adults. I support liberty. Don't try to tell me that homosexuality is equal to heterosexuality. I oppose dishonesty. How many family trees have a homosexual couple anchoring the root of the tree. Answer: Zero. I admire Sifo's incisive logic. Speak to his points, not to his person. Is drug abuse a choice? People engage in self destructive behavior all the time in answer to the lure of immediate gratification. Homosexual behavior is no different. On the military issue, I don't know. I do know that understanding that I might be forced to live in intimate close quarters among homosexual men, I'd be much less likely to serve in the military. Fighting along side them is not the issue. It is the living day to day in intimate close quarters with them that would be disturbing. How'zat Char? What about beastiality? Born that way, or chose it? Drug abusers? Born that way or chose it? |
