How does Ferrari do it time and time again? It seems like one masterpiece after another, at least to my eyes! Anyone else lust after the prancing pony?

I agree, they knocked it out of the park with the 458.

I saw a black one the other day on 67 through Dundee, WI accompanied by another Ferrari, either a 360 or 430. I was in shock, very beautiful car.

I'll just take the money thanks : ) You can buy a lot of bikes (and a car for winter)for that sort of cash.

I've always lusted for Porsches (I like quirky) more than Ferrari's, but that is a mighty fine looking car

I like things about it, but certain aspects aren't working for me. The whole area around the quarter glass and in front of the rear wheel well just cartoony, and the tail lights are just weird looking...

The last Ferrari I've really like was the 355.

Taillights... look.... wrong....

Why would they leave that much plastic sticking upwards like that?

I do respect Porsche for it's performance, but they need to reinvent them selves style wise. When you see a Porsche, it looks like a Porsche, no matter what year. Where as Ferrari, seems to start with a clean slate for every model they come out with, no taking the previous years model and just tweaking the grill or tail lights and calling it new! You also get a choice of front or mid-engine layouts.

And, yes it would take a lot of disposable cash, and I mean a lot, to ever get one of those in the stable, because the ZR-1 must come first!

Needs, I only half agree with the "clean slate", when I see a Ferrari it still looks like a Ferrari to me.

im sure those tail light sticking out like that compliment the aerodynamics of the body just in front of it. To me it almost seems to me like they are acting like winglets on a wingtip.

Ourdee,
Agreed, but think of what that says about Ferrari, there is character and personality to them that is recognizable, not just a shape.

Even on two wheels!

Ditch,
The pics above show that there isn't just a basic shape to them, but some recognizable features for sure.

How can a mid-engine and a front engine car have the same shape?

The last Ferrari I've really like was the 355.

I drove yellow 355 Spider one about a month ago. Working at a custom shop on the side has some perks! I took it out and went easy about a mile and came back. The owner said "You can't drive a Ferrari like that!" so i went again and wicked it up alittle. I didn't want to get out!
