Erase some of those imaginary lines and I can say, even without too many curves, there is something magical about running the open countryside at dusk in lower Georgia and Upper Florida. That is where I picked up the Blast back in 2008. And there is enough O2 at sea level for the bike to run pretty good! But damned the humidity, I grew up in it and just don't like it anymore. I sure miss the cooking back home, which for me is the greater region of the Southeast. I know Frank knows what I'm talking about on the food and humidity. |

Sounds like you are over sensitive about living in FL Torq. I looked through the thread and I do not see anything that can be classified as HATE. Doc |

Torq, No hate, just folks ribbing the geographical characteristics of your state. My response would be something like, "Spring break and the beach season provide an abundance of curves, and for the most fun aggressive road riding we have track days at Daytona, Homestead, and other killer road racing facilities." Riding like a racer on the street is just plain dumb. (Message edited by blake on September 20, 2010) |

Or you could fight back, like "Yeah, well you should see the roads Hootowl has to ride on over there in Houston. Talk about flat." |

sorry for the way I come off sounding I was laid off shortly after purchasing a foreclosure in 09. the better half and I agreed I would do the renovations as she tended to sustainability. I literally live at work...I wake up in the same place I'm renovating and my "job" just never seems done. I'm a slave to my grind and the end result will be very rewarding, but for now it's just the dog and I for 10 hrs a day. I hang out on the Badweb just to see whats going on and I guess get a little touchy about certain things. I in return apologize...as I said earlier I usually am not this touchy and am usually the one poking fun...guess I just can't stand the heat right now at least the better half gives me gas money so I can vent on the Buells and utilizing those loonnnggggg straight roads...hell i'm usually so zoned out a curve would probably kill me |

Torq- the simple solution is to show up for Buelltoberfest in Suches GA next month! Good luck on getting some R&R, and hopefully some curvy roads...
