Anyone here have first-hand witness account? Those pics show a couple of guys in a sedan. Any "action shots"? |

These two were actually arrested and released at some point, since they didn't get away with the bike. Concerned citizens detained the individuals until the police arrived. It was only after they were released with no charges that the locals started gathering data on them in order to mete out some justice. |

Looks like the toolboxes at Facebook censored the page. People were getting out of hand with the death threats and such... too bad. |

Just read all the Adv. stuff and it's funny as all get out. They've got the scums home address, home and work phone numbers, where he works and personal e-mail address. I hope they make his life a living crap hole. I have absolutely no use for a thief! |

Is that a hacked account or a fresh account made for this guy? I would suggest that if it was freshly made that the person who made it cover their backside since there could be all sorts of damages filed by the for things like defamation of character. I truly hope that the person who did that page used some good anonymous proxies to help cover their tracks. |

Doubt it. He admitted to creating it in the East TN motorcycle forum. |

Yeah, I thought the same thing. No actual crime was committed, so this is a defamation of character lawsuit at least. Criminal charges could actually be filed at worst. |

I would have blasted through proxies in several countries while creating the email account and FB account, and several more while adding the info just to make it fun. |

Yeah, that would figure that the scumbags would turn around and sue, and win, the guy that set up that bogus account. Their daddy is probably a lawyer who is used to getting them out of trouble. Maybe they'll try and steal the wrong person's bike next time and end up on a slab. |

Maybe they will end up on a slab anyway... To sue would bring about an even bigger S$^T storm. I make no bones about it. Yes my bike is worth more than your life, if your trying to steal it. Yes I will shoot to kill, and no I will not have any remorse over it. Come to my home and try it, it makes it legal here to shoot and kill. I <3 red necks |

Don't they have attempted grand theft auto in that state? |

Yes they do. And if they are caught out in public with a bunch of people around, they go to jail. If at my home, all the way up the drive, odds are very good they have tools(weapons) in which to steal things, with them. Or one by the bike on the bench. In society, when caught people tend to pick up anything they can as a weapon. Once they turn toward you and take one step, they are in an attack position. It is legal to use lethal force if you feel your life is in danger. A stranger with a weapon in/at my home coming toward me, has the possibility to end my life - that is a fact. And that is when attempted grand theft auto ends, and attempt to do harm begins. If I caught someone and they did exactly what I told them to do -immediately drop what ever they had in their hands, dropped to the deck, didn't move, and stayed there; A phone would be made and they would be arrested. Any deviance from that, I have reason to fear for my safety, and act accordingly. Here's my deal: Twice I have had my vehicle stolen, another time a B&E, with a stuff stolen. In the case of one of the vehicle theft, I lost a great, great deal. The truck yes, some sellable material in it yes, but just as valuable was my school work. A semester of college just about wiped out. In the old west for most a person's horse was their livelihood, greatest asset, and means of survival. It was a hanging offense to steal one. At that time, my truck( A POS dodge ram 50), was all those things to me. Working two jobs, going to school, and just trying to make it, that truck provided me with a way to survive. In stealing my school work, the person was stealing my future, what I was trying to work toward. NO different than trying to take part of someones land 100+ years ago. What right does anyone have to take from another that way? I have the right, to the pursuit of happiness. In stealing on that level you have violated my basic rights, forfeiting yours. I do hope these two are made to suffer bigger consequence than it appears they have. Having their property stolen, with no replacement, at minimum. And a big punch in the face to ever is enabling them. I consider myself a kind and generous person. I will share and give of what I have. I will invite you into my home, and give you a place to rest. I believe in your rights and freedoms as long as they don't take away from others. Please do not take and steal from me. Please do not limit my ability to be free. Kindness and generosity are not doormats and blank checks. |

Well put, my friend... Wish I'd had notice of this right after it'd happened- the Gap is essentially in my backyard, and after working in HD sales for 4 and a half years, I know a LOT of peeps that hang out there. I'd like to see a version of a zombie movie (the 70's Body Snatchers) where those douche canoes are the last ones with fresh BRAAINS!!! Oh yeah, they probably don't have any. Kinda like biting into a bad malted milk ball... Actually, the drop from Calderwood Dam Overlook might be useful... Whoops, sorry, vivid imagination. |
