The Westboro Baptist Church protests gays, soldier funerals, and now apparently they hate nerds who "idolize superheros". Needless to say, the nerds didn't stand by and let their comic convention get ruined, so the counter protested and the WBC gave up and left!  (Message edited by froggy on July 23, 2010) | ||

Yeah, just great that on about any given day I can drive around town and see a group of those losers. They tried that BS around here and the community sent them packing here as well. Their protesting was drowned out by boomboxes on the street, car stereos and people's homes on the funeral route. The brother of the soldier killed called a local radio station and told everyone what the soldiers favorite song was. People lined the whole parade route playing it and drowning out those wastes of life. | ||

I grew up around the phelps in Topeka and they are really off their collective rockers. Growing up in Westboro, a fairly nice neighborhood ( I did a photoessay on it last year to show the New Yorkers I didn't grow up on a farm) was nice u till the phelps came along. | ||
