Okay . . . we're good to go but we've got a LOT to do and very little time. The tire budget for each race has been running right at $3,000. My goal is for us to try to help as much as possible with Mid-Ohio AND Lagnua Seca. I need to send the stuff off for the shirts by mid-afternoon today. Here's what I am thinking and need . . . I'm open to ideas but won't have much time as I'm in meetings for the next couple hours. The back of the shirt will be the same as the ones from Homecoming with ERIK BUELL RACING and the Pegasus logo. This will allow great ID while walking the track. Now . . . here's what I am thinking on the front . . a head on graphic of GEOFF MAY with wording like . . These shirts will indentify anyone wearing them at the track as a TIRE SPONSOR to Geoff, Erik and any of the Buell staff. I'm not married to the wording and have considered "GEOFF MAY - Enthusiast Tire Supporter" and so forth. Talk to me . . . I'll make a decision at 3:30 EDT. Also . . . . Anyone willing to sell these at Mid-Ohio and Laguna Seca drop me a note. Here we go . . let's see what we can do. You don't know all the details but this is TRULY a case where Badweb can tip the "go-no go" decision about Laguna Seca in the favor of having a BUELL AMERICAN RACE BIKE in the race! The important thing now is to just get it done rather than worrying about details, but with that said, how about a Badweb Logo to differentiate it as a specific Badweb effort? I also love the idea of the "hammer" quote in the orginal Deutsch as a tip of the hat to the great work Pegasus Race Team is doing. | ||

I like "GEOFF MAY - Where the hammer hangs" too. German or English. Personally I'd like to have some kind of Buell logo or 1125/1190 graphic on the front also, maybe the text overlaying an outline graphic of the bike, but I'm good with whatever you decide on Court. The goal of getting Geoff some tires is what really counts. | ||

I'm down for a shirt (XL) but does anyone else see the irony of American innovation coming your way then German? Just wondering. I like the full quote that Jens posted somewhere else, I guess it was at the end of that article, something like,"Pegasus, showing HD where the hammer hangs". I like that alot. | ||

I'm also open to color ideas . . . it'd be cool to have something that would stand out at the track . . I even thought about a sky blue shirt with yellow graphics . . maybe purple with graphics. Mark, Tony and Alex . . . why don't you guys be the "color committee. Discuss amongst yourselves and get back to me by mid afternoon. It'd be neat to have something that looks cool yet is identifiable to these events. | ||

My only thought is to keep it as generic as possible. nothing against Geoff, but he could be riding something other than a Buell product next year.... same thing about putting the track name on it. If there is left over inventory... well that would just suck. I'm thinking why limit it to this year.. we may need to do it again Its your kitchen, I just wanna taste the soup | ||
