Anyway, it really doesn't matter because since the XB's came out in 2003 every possible question has already been asked and answered in a number of ways, and stored in the knowledge vault. So you can just use the google search engine to search the site for what you're looking for, and baba bing, you're good. Sometimes. Actually the search engine is a bit of a problem, sort of like the spelling of Erik's name. So just go ahead and ask any question, except of course, what oil to use. That gets them going too. The answer is Mobil 1 15W50 in the motor, and Harley formula + in the primary case. OK? PS: The owners manuals are on line, but the shop manual is not. You're supposed to buy one if you work on your own machine, which is highly recommended in these parts, all the more so since the late unpleasantness at the Buell Motor Company. There is a workshop manual for XB12 2005 Firebolt, in pdf form. It's a largish file at 23mb. Covers most of what you need to know for XBs up to '08. Welcome by the way. | ||

It never hurts to bring up the fact that Wandell is a golf playing wobbler who axed Buell two minutes after he got his motorcycle rider's permit.
