I added an Italian redhead to the collection yesterday...     2006 MV Agusta F4 Brutale 910S with 475 original miles. Being a v-twin and triple aficionado, I wasn't sure how I was going to like this I-4, but I can honestly say its performance and sound exceed my wildest expectations. Maybe it's because the Italians were making I-4's long before the Japanese, or maybe it's because the previous owner replaced the exhaust center pipe (catalyst) and uploaded a Ferracci race map, but this I-4 pulls strong from off-idle and up, and it has an incredibly low and wickedly mean exhaust growl. It's not like any I-4 I've heard before... it actually sounds good. I'm impressed. The chassis/suspension is incredibly refined (chrome-moly steel tube frame, 50mm Marzocchi Magnum forks/Sachs shock), the motor is a beast, and she's absolutely stunning to look at. I had always been impressed with my Ducatis, but this MV is a step above- I had no idea how solid and refined the MV's were... until now. All I can say is that H-D has gotten no money from me on this bike (pre-owned '06 model), and I sincerely hope MV Agusta has a new owner soon so I can buy some accessories- I don't want H-D to get a penny from me, so I'll be patient. I am totally smitten by this Italian redhead... Cara mia, ti voglio bene! | ||

Awesome, I love Brutales, my favorite Italian naked bike. Side note, shortly after HD bought MV, and also shortly before I was laid off, employees had a chance to buy a new MV for a substantial discount. I used some extreme will power that month. | ||

Got to ride one at my old dealer was a trade in. Wild ride like a nasty gsxr street fighter.Sounds amazing but desperately needs a slipper clutch. Engine braking is F-ing Brutal.no pun intended |
