I can't get to Gus's until sometime after 1800 or 1830. I am not done at the Hospital until 1530 at the earliest. |

I am going to try and pull by Uke's on Saturday for awhile. I have a grad party I need to be at around 2:00, but that is about is about it. |

We are on for Gus's . . . . They thought we were coming only Saturday night and were thankful for the "heads up".
They are putting on extra staff for tonight so lets see how many folks we can scare up. I told Jessica I didn't know if it would be 25 folks or 250 folks.
I'm not sure how many folks have access to Badweb so if you see Buell folks in camp grounds, gas stations or dealerships . . . spread the word. Someone should also give Bud at Hal's a "heads up" if you go by there.
Sounds like we may also have a couple of the East Troy Village Officers join us. If you meet one of them be certain to say "Thank you" on behalf of all the Buell owners.
I can't wait!

Don't forget today/tonight, June 17th, is Buell day at the HD Museum. A few different racing Buell's will be on display. i.e. Eslick's bike, a couple Bonneville Salt Flat Bikes and Bilansky's bike.
There is a ride to the museum leaving from Hal's HD/Buell at 6:15pm on Thursday, June 17th. |

WOW!!! 150 down and 250 to go... should be a busy afternoon at Alpine... I am so so so stoked...

I rode to East Troy yesterday and registered, went to Roma's for pizza last night with a large group of Buell riders and of course stopped by Gus's for a custard cone before leaving town.
I'll be at Gus's again tonight, great place to eat and I love that custard! |

Court, I had lunch at Gus's Tue by myself, Wed. with a small group, Today a big group I hope. We took Roma's by surprise last night. They were fantastic, setting up in no time a Pizza buffet with sodas for 10 bones a head in the "Buell Room". I liked it.

Got the new belt on my bike with Ralph's(Gearhead) help and the use of his Pit Bull stand. Went to fire it up and the battery was TOAST! Damn! Another quick call to a friend of mine that owns the Suzuki dealership in Waterloo and he cut me a deal on a new one. Picked it up at his house last night, went to my house, filled it with acid and put it on the 2 amp charger overnight. Came in early this morning, installed it in my bike and fired it up! First time it has been run since last Labor Day.
Found all my riding gear I am going to need, cleaned my helmet and packed my WI map. I am set!
Going to drop Buck (my dog) off tomorrow morning at his "weekend cottage", drive back to La Porte and hit the road!
I am really looking forward to the ride and seeing all of you! |

Beautiful day out here at Blackhawk. Good number of Buells including a RR1000 that is on display. No Erik Buell Racing yet if they are still coming out. |

Erik made it out to Blackhawk Farms today with a couple of his Erik Buell Racing race bikes. He autographed bikes and had many pictures taken with different Buell owners. I'm sure some of those pictures will show up on BadWeb. |

Got back in the house about 5:30 this evening.... Verns bike started to run/skip again... a little roadside repair (aka hardwire the fan so it runs all the time) and he was good to go.... he should be home soon. |
