Can not wait! Our Group from the Portland Buell Riders has routes set, hotels, ande new tires ready to mount for the 4800 mile round trip. June 13th Lewiston ID June 14th Butte MT June 15th Bowman ND June 16th Mankato MN June 17th East Troy! Headed back West on Sunday | ||

I've done enough track days to know doing a track day 500 miles from home on my main mode of transportation isn't a good idea for me.....  It can be down right painful..... LOL But, I wouldn't mind watching. | ||

On June 14th, Terri and I will head out. After Homecoming we're heading west; eventually hitting the Pacific Coast. Then we'll turn around han head back towards home. We've been planning this for a while, and it's becoming a reality. Today, I made a few more arrangements. This is going to be GREAT!!! | ||

Softbags, XB?, 're you getting a new bike????? And Glitch is going to be in Wisconsin????? I'm soooooooo out of touch with things these days. I've got a set of dusty RKA saddlebags down in the basement if someone needs to borrow them. I need to get up to speed, and probably dig the M2 out of the corner and see if it still runs. We've got relatives coming in from out of town that weekend though , bummer (seroiusly, it is a bummer). Livin' vicariously through a 2" screen and riding with my thumbs on the keypad. | ||

Thanks Mnrider - we cashed in a bunch of free hotel nights and points and grabbed hotels. On the route choice maybe we can just connect with you on the 17th and ride in to East Troy together. I do think we need to stop in LaCrosse for a free lunch though. | ||

I'll be there late Friday night and unfortunately missing the banquet and most likely the concert since I work until about 9pm. Who's going to be still up drinkin', and at what bar will you be at? I plan on leaving right after work to make the 3hr drive via car (oh yeah, I can possibly make it faster if I don't get pulled over)... | ||

I've spent more time and money getting ready for this trip. Can't wait, but I know my ass will never be the same. Heading east with NWforester, borrowedbike, and xbswede. Judging by the last time we went for a longer trip something crazy will happen.
