Sorry i hate harmonicas. They ruin songs!

I won't listen to anything with bagpipes or harmonicas in it!

Harmonica = country music!

Poor preybird. Never heard a good blues player on a harp. I do agree with the disdain for the tortured cat sound of a pair of sackpipes.

I remember listening to a simple man on the harmonica in a pentacostal service. Brought tears to my eyes.

Jon, Bring it to Country View Campgrounds and play it around the campfire during HC.

I don't think they would have allowed it, if it would ruin anything:

I play. I have a couple Hohners (chromatic and a diatonic) I learned to play when I was about 5 years old and have been dabbling in it ever since. : )

Ourdee, not sure you would want to hear me playing around the campfire at HC - I had one as a kid and am just picking it back up. Still pretty new to it
I got a Hohner Special 20 diatonic for Christmas and have since picked up a couple others to try out. Just looking for some tips from any BadWeb pros that may be out there.

RD, I am going to bring my bagpipes to HC just for you! Like everything else musical tastes are personal favorites. "Train, Train" brings back memories of fishing for Walleye with my Dad and brothers, about the only time we were not fighting about some piss ant thing.

M2, If you do and play anything on the sackpipes that sounds good, I'll apologize. But until then.....

I agree 100% with Preybird. Harmonicas and Bagpipes were invented with the sole purpose to reek havoc on earth. Oh, and I hate Led too.

J5,

Dig the harp, dig the blues. Don't play, but know a few who do.

Lotsa haters among Buell lovers. You guys need to quit reading the Huffington Post. ; )

#1 Froggy How the hell do you hate Led Zeppelin

#2 There's nothing wrong with a harmonica i find that some of the best songwriters of all time use them quite well. See Bob Dylan and Paul Simon for detail.

Can't hold it against Froggy...he's still a pup...or is that a tadpole? After the Led Zepplin remarks....I'm listening to "Whole Lotta Love" as I type... And Froggy is most likely going Bob who??..Paul who?....and if you brought up Who..he might say Who who???

I like both harmonica and bag pipes.

The steel guitar, however, sucks naked anus.

This is a steel regulator guitar, and it has the voice of angels. Not to be confused with the steel pedal guitar...

Bagpipes echoing off the Echo Wall of the Königsee (King's Lake) in Germany.
It still gives me goosebumps just remembering it after more than thirty years.
It was one of the most awesomely beautiful things I have ever heard.
