And no shifting. Always wanted to adapt the clutch to a cruiser.

Sportbikes yes. I have a Roadglide with 6 speed that makes a lot of noise thru the gears but the result would be the same and smoother with centrifugal.

sorry but a 500 cc air cooled cat engine makes about 75 hp not 140. My 900 cc cat engine makes 140 in my 2005 King Cat.

That bike is just a waste. You cannot turn left with it obviously otherwise you will destroy the clutch. The pipes are all wrong as 2 strokes need an expansion chamber to run well also so I doubt it even makes 75hp.

so at 75 horse it still makes more then a sporty. i said he should have used one of my zrt 800 or thundercat 1000 triple motors. i would have really wanted it then! 172 horse in a sporty would be nice. or 150 for my 800's

and as far as turning left, that clutch is really no lower then the pegs on the fleet of sportys im standing next to right now. even in stock form, we all know that bike was never made with alot of concern about how well it turns. the pipes do need work, but it doesnt even look like they are hardly bolted on at the moment, and it obviously is still under construction.

That's getting dangerously close to my idea for my next project!
I want to us a snowmobile torque converter on a streetbike. (not the engine)

Panhead Dan, I know little about snowmobiles but it appears the converter is very similar to an HD primary. I believe you can tune for rpm. It would be an interesting project.

Wasn't there a custom Blast posted once a while back that had a torque converter?
I can't find it.
I thought maybe Roland Sands built it, but it's not on his site.
