I would just like to ask all motorcycle traffic and especially buell traffic to avoid joliet street between route 38 and route 59 in west chicago from 8a.m. till 6 p.m. as I am trapped at work watching you drive past. not only do i get jealous but I think my bike is starting to also.

I am leaving the office now, but I cannot ride that direction to antagonize you due to other appointments.

I was just out that way a couple of hours ago! I've got the week off and the weather is great!

Thinking about heading to the CLSB gathering at Cheeseburger in Paradise tonight. Anyone else heading out there tonight?

When I was at Wolf Pen Gap last summer I wound up having to repaint the fender on my wife's Sporty. This morning I just put the body work back on my wife's Street Triple after spraying pearl over the white base coat. I kind of want to see it under some parking lot lights. Looked great in the sunshine today at McGough Rd. in Sycamore. Not Wolf Pen Gap, but fun for this area.

Your bike is ridable, I've done worse to my bikes a hundred miles away from home and still rode them. Bang your shifter into 4th, just take it easy getting off the line, and tear it up : )

no its actually not.....in my bordom i took off the broken parts so i have nothing as far as shifting linkage or anything my my left foot, and since i snapped my clutch lever i took that off to (along with my air scoop and oil cooler cover)......i couldnt get it to push into any gears anyway while i did have the clamp peice still on....hopefully it works once i put everything back together!

A vice grip = new clutch lever, a couple of sheetmetal screws = new footpeg. You don't need the air scoop, thats why the bike has two, as for the oil cooler, well thats what the fan is for! : )

How about all the locals consider coming to our monthly meeting tonight! We could use the support. Tim, I know you'll be there.

okay, I guess its fine if you want to drive by and make me jealous. I will tell you this though...if you are heading east on 38 try passing joliet st. about 200 feet down right passed the goodyear is a little hot dog stand known as happy house. good food. then if you continue east.... a ramp to 59... not very long but has a nice curve to it.

If i could head out there i would but alas I am trapped in crappy Wauconda.

Went on a nice ride down Sheridan road and LSD last night. Weather was perfect and there were a ton of hotties walking around in Evanston and around Loyola. Man do I love Chicagoland when it's warm.

John, I buzzed by there twice today. West bound about 10:20 and East about 11:50. Kept looking for a Buell in a parking lot going through there, but failed to spot one.

A riding buddy of mine was working in his AT&T truck on North Ave. earlier this week and said a blue Lightning with black wheels went by doing a wheelie. Any guilty parties around here?

I'm at precision lube.... across the street from the car wash. white firebolt out front usually close to the building. either that or a 94 ford escort or 1980 xl125 and on rare occasions a 1980 cm200t.
