They've changed the bill twice in the last hour and no one has a clue what it says . . . this is amazing.

I've been watching the proceedings all day on CSPAN (finally, some of that CSPAN televised transparency...). Believe me, it takes willpower.

In between episodes of rolling around on the floor screaming, of course.

The Dem holdouts will cave, as I assumed. I hope I'm wrong.

It appears that the reconciliation portion of the bill will most likely be thrown out as a result of the Section 310g rule violation.

This means at worst that the Senate bill, unliked by the House, will be passed and signed. At best, the Senate bill might have to come back to the house for another vote.

It's awfully tough to pass laws without the participation of both parties and against the will of the people.

I believe that current Democrats are willing to take a 10 or 20 year hiatus out of power in return for inflicting a mortal wound on our Republic that will return power to them permanently down the road.

One bright spot is that there will be NO benefits available until 2014, but the pain of taxes will be immediate.

We won't be able to repeal this abomination until 2013.

It's time I hope that all Sentient americant citizens

a. find out who in their state voted for that bill and vote them out.
b. at election time demand of the new politico, repeal this commie crap.

We are only victims IF WE SEE OUR SELVES AS VICTIMS.

the qualifications for elected office allow most of us to be elected

The most frightening thing is that when folks who cant afford the "plan" and cant pay the penalty then what?

My mind reels

WE THE PEOPLE ELECTED THESE BRIGHT SPARKS.

We brought this on our selves.

It's just one more thing to separate you from your money.

We just got a letter Saturday saying that we beat the IRS at their own game, now I get this first thing on a Monday morning.

Whatever happened to this whole, 'Taxation without representation' thing I grew up learning about?

I'm hoping that we can vote out incumbents soon. Their campaigns quoting that they have experience isn't going to work anymore. We need REAL people in office. People that have spines, morals, and good character.

I've been talking about running for mayor for a few years now locally. I'll go on the platform of 'Common Sense: Get some'

Our Liberal, gun hating, Zero Tolerance, unable to follow a budget of a Mayor recently got car jacked in his own garage...

Online California Republican Party Registration here.

It is time for some of you to seriously consider switching your party to the Republican Party. You are waking up this morning only to realize that the Democrats have attacked working people by spreading your wealth against your will and limiting your freedom.

Becoming a Republican was a foreign idea to me as I had been a life long Democrat. I slowly realized that the Democratic Party was constantly and consistently legislating to steal my rights as an American. The Republicans are far from perfect but they are the ONLY other real game in town. I am glad that I made the difficult decision to become a Republican because "they were the party of the rich and the far right". This proved to be nonsense. Yesterday, the unanimous support of defeating this monstrosity has made me proud of my party. You have been duped by the Democrats so please remember that every November.

The Republican Party's core belief is in the power of the individual and liberty. This is what made America great.

This monstrosity will hopefully found to be unConstitutional. Electing a Republican Congress and President can lead to meaningful health care reform. You have been duped once again, people.
